This place is great. It’s got a very homey coziness that really makes me feel comfortable. Even better, though, is that the food is great, and the selection for what to put in sandwiches is amazing.

Service was friendly enough. Did not make up for the sandwiches that could have been made better from the comfort of our own home. The turkey was dry, old and extremely thick. There was no flavor on the Vermonter and the maple condiment tasted very funny. The bread is toasted hard as a rock and hurts your mouth to eat (it’s also not good bread). Everything inside looks like it’s covered in an inch of dust. No organization. Not worth 10 dollars for a sandwich I could make better at home. I would rate 1 star but we didn’t try the soups.

Excellent food, service and price in a beautiful home like place. Came in the winter and was great but can imagine it being even better in the summer when you could take it in a picnic In the park just across the street!!! ❤️

I love the windows here, the space is sunny and warm. I love the reused items, the coffee station is on a clothing bureau, really cute. The sandwiches are simple and filling which was perfect, totally something I’d make at home if I had fancier ingredients. The space though could use a good wet dusting everywhere.

On December 21st, 2021 I ordered a grilled cheese with chili at Belle’s Cafe. I wanted breakfast food but the woman working the counter said they don’t have any, which turned out not to be true. She recommended Friendly’s. They do have breakfast food she just didn’t feel like making any. She was so preoccupied with leaving at 3 PM on the dot when they closed, that she actually YELLED at me to eat fast as soon as she served my food. I had my infant son in his stroller at the time. She left at 3 and left the much friendlier guy to finish up all the closing work. The chili and grilled cheese were good.

The Vermonter was difficult to eat. Very hard bread with a flat flavor profile. The Pilgrim was a little easier, but nothing to write home about.

We found this little gem while looking for a new lunch spot in Williston! The ambiance is an eclectic mixture of antiques and necessities- the staff was inviting when we arrived @ the stroke of 11am. The food was amazing! The chicken rice soup had loads of all kinds of veggies and pulled chicken-sooo good! My Dad had the cheddar soup, and he said it was more like a chowder with all the veggies that were included and he also had a turkey rueben that he said was delicious. The salads were huge, chicken salad very tasty and specialty wrap very good. We will be back, and I will recommend to my friends!

Old fashioned charm, and distinct down home decor are not a enough to save a Cafe with 1,000 sandwiches and one option for coffee …..
