This is the best Mexican Restaurant in town. The food is authentic. The service is amazing. I go here all the time. The sauces are rich in flavor. Every dish I’ve tried has been amazing. The restaurant is clean. Parking is easy and close to the entrance. Memorial Park is across the street. Outdoor seating is available. If you’re reading this and haven’t tried it, you’re wasting your time. Get there now!

I ordered 2 of the Birria’s , 2 chicken tacos, and 1 Al pastor taco. The food was done and delivered in a timely manner. The Al pastor taco was bursting with flavor I loved it. However I was disappointed with the Birria tacos, they lacked flavor and cheese. My bf took one bite of the chicken tacos and said they were not good. I also feel like for the price I paid that there should be more sides or sauces that come with the dishes. Such as rice and beans, limes and salsa.

Lucia’s Taqueria is one of the best restaurant additions to Terre Haute in over a decade. The food served is unique compared to other Mexican restaurants because the menu has a combination of authentic Mexican cuisine and TexMex for the less adventurous. The spice level is on point, and the homemade sauces up the heat to the next level. In a town filled with tired franchises, why not experience something real and dine here.

We are always looking for good tacos. We thought these were great. The al pastor were the favorite but the asado were also very good with the salsa they provided. It was tender and not tough at all like some steak tacos. We also tried the birria and the gorilla burrito. No one in our family of 8 complained one bit. Everyone liked everything they tried. We will definitely be back.

I’m a pretty serious Mexican food fanatic and this place has some absolutely killer food. Their Al Pastor is very flavorful and the portions are great for the money. I’ve been here a dozen times or more and every time I’m anywhere close by and I’m the slightest bit hungry….I make an excuse to stop in for a bite. You won’t be disappointed, trust me.

Overall a nice place and nice people. Atmosphere is OK. My food concern may be a lack of knowledge on my part…I thought that the corn meal bottom of a sopa was supposed to be crisp outter then soft inner with some puff to it. Mine were a very flat and hard disc. Again, perhaps I had an errant expectation. The Al pastor meat on top was tasty. My wife said, “it wasn’t the best taco salad I’ve ever had.” They did have Victoria beer which was a pleasant surprise.

The staff was great. Very efficient and welcoming. The location had been other restuarants in the past but they did a great job in really setting the space apart as their own. The salsa – yes please. It is fresh, and has plenty of substance, not watery soupy salsa and it had flavor something lacking at many places. The heat level was good for most people, but even as someone who makes it preettt spicy, it was good. We sampled alot of different food and it was all good. The al pastor was sadly a bit chewy and didn’t have the pineapple tang it should, but it may have just been an off batch.
