Thai food!!! I would eat here every day! I can not say enough great things about the deliciousness. The red curry, noodles, fried rice and egg rolls were ah-may-zing. The portions were huge. Really, don’t assume the worst because of the location, and it’s a food truck. Just go. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent, authentic Thai food! Be aware that this is a food truck, so there is no indoor seating. This was the perfect pit stop for our family on a nice weather day. There were picnic tables with umbrellas and a well cared for bathroom facility behind the truck. The woman who took our order and made our food was very kind. The freshly prepared food came out in about 10 minutes. The portions were large and delicious! 2 adults shared the pad thai, and my 3 small kids shared an orange chicken plate. The egg rolls were delicious too. A smart stop on a nice day!!

If you happen to be traveling through this little town and you’re hungry, stop and eat here. I’m very curious of the origin story of this business, but this is an amazing thing in the middle of nowhere. The best Thai food I’ve had in many years.

My wife and I traveled down a different way to eat a lunch. We noticed a Food truck named” THAI OKIE ” . The first words that we both spoke, “we love Thai cuisine!” The location is pleasant with plenty of parking, we noticed two huge bench tables all under two large umbrellas. We Also noticed behind the food truck is a restroom for all needs. The Menu has a relatively long list. We both ordered the Orange chicken w/ jasmine rice, egg roll, crab Wonton, Shrimp fried rice w/ vegetable Wok stir fry and a Thai iced tea. The Thai tea is authentic true. The Jasmine rice was perfectly done. My wife said the shrimp fried rice was the best ever! I’m very proud to place this review for all to take notice. Go here if you like Thia food and wish for spicy. I always like a good delicious tasty spicy meal. However, if you aren’t much for spicy foods… Ask the staff to tell the Chief, Hold the spicy.

When you eat a meal, sometimes you can taste the care and attention given to the ritualistic process of preparing the food. Thai Okie is definitely one of those places. I love Thai food, have been to Thailand, and any chance I get I will try a Thai restaurant anywhere I travel. Thai Okie is now a favorite spot and I will go out of my way in the future to stop here for some amazing Thai food. Everything we had was savory and delightful. Unfortunately this place is only open Thursday through Saturday, but that’s okay I am changing my travel schedule to make sure I can stop here when I’m passing through.
