The owner and son are super nice! When i came in to pick up my orders it wasn’t ready due to he wants everything to be fresh and hot. I ordered 2 baked mostaccioli he combined my order and put it into one huge tray . The tray was more than what i paid for and he then gave me more freshly baked biscuits. He was offering to give more free bread sticks I didn’t want to take all their food and also I was in hurry. Wish all the restaurants owner and staff would be like them, Not because he was giving more food the way he appreciates his customers and very welcoming. The food are fresh and good. I wish it was closer to my home i like Brown’s mushrooms . Someone mentioned the breading is different I had to think about it it’s been awhile since i ordered Brown’s mushrooms. I actually like the new version than the old breading. Thank you again!

New store location looks like new owners too. It’s much better than when it was across the street. Everything is painted new and it’s bright and cheery in there. Staff was friendly. I did have to wait for the chicken but I understand they’re not going to have chicken waiting for me so it’s nice to see that they’re making it to order versus having chicken just sit there. Next time I’ll phone ahead avoid the wait.

I love this food! I grew up in Chicago in the 70’s and 80’s, eating Browns, and then I moved out of state. Every time I come back, I HAVE TO have some fried mushrooms from here. I wish they’d open a restaurant in Omaha, NE!

I have been to this location several times and it is always the same. The people are very friendly I will admit but there is a BIG difference between freshly fried chicken verses REFIED chicken!! I was a cook in the military for many, many years…I know the difference!!!
