My wife called to place a take out order. Machine said we do not take orders over the phone when we don’t answer. Fine. We grabbed our coats and drove the mile. People were waiting, with open tables. My wife tells the lady at the counter, “We’d like to make a take out order.” She snaps back, “No to go orders! Quickly, she says, it would be 40-50 minutes!” My wife politely responds with, “we don’t mind. We’ll come back.” Again, only much more rudely announced, ” No to go orders!”

Great little Italian place. We came in as a big group (22) for a family reunion and they were able to accommodate the large group. The food was great. I had chicken Parm with vodka sauce pasta. 10 out of 10. I tried some other dishes and they were all good.

Cool little pasta house in the heart of Grover Beach. My dinner date had the Chicken Parmesan. Chicken was nicely cooked juicy, pasta el dente’. I started with the Caesar salad which came with an anchovy laying on top(it should have been blended into the dressing)and for my entrée, Lasagna, It had lots of creamy cheese but not much meat. As for the “Sunday Gravy” sauce on both dishes, we both were not a fan. It was on the chunky side, a little sweet and had green peppers which really over powered the sauce.(some may like the sauce like this). Oh I almost forgot, the bread was fantastic. Next time we will try some of the dishes that don’t have the red sauce and maybe one of the deserts.

We had a family reunion and decided to try Jimmy D’s for our caterer because we love Italian. IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!! The meatballs and bread were amazing. We also got three cheese raviolis and spaghetti with meat sauce. Everyone absolutely enjoyed the dinner. We will be going on a regular basis for sure. Staff are so nice and helpful. Jimmy and his wife are doing an outstanding job

Good but some details are missing. They have a kids menu but no coloring sheet or crayons. The highchair made the walkway practically unusable for staff because the tables are too close together how they have it arranged.

Wow positive reviews threw us for a loop at Jimmy Ds tonight. Final tab came and it was $90 for three meals, sodas, and appetizer. Big red flag! We asked for a menu to compare prices waitress added an extra dollar on each entree, salad and appetizer. When we confronted her about it she blamed a coworker for adding wrong and said just take it off the tip. Also just a side note no refills for the $3.50 can of soda. Food not worth the stress of having to double check pricing.

Food was excellent! So good that I forgot to take pics of it. Only remembered when I got to desserts. The lasagna is to die for! Caesar salad and garlic cheese bread was a perfect addition. We loved the red checked table clothes and the wine was ok. I had the Pino grigio. At $7 a glass, it was a good price point. Loved the food and the experience. We’ll be back!
