I tried. First time EVER being served cold meat. Definitely a different bbq experience. Chopped was dry, sliced was better; yet absolutely cold. Ribs tough with excessive dry rub to mask the toughness (didn’t work). Mac and cheese was below mid. Void of seasoning and tacky (texture). Corn on the cob was boiled out of the bag with water, no butter or anything. Kindest most polite folks in the area. Truly, maybe it was an off day. Will try again just because of the absolute kindness of everyone I encountered there.

Good surprise in Montgomery. Wife and I stopped in to get some pulled pork sandwiches and some fries. You would not believe how difficult it is to get fries with BBQ, just not a normal pairing I guess… But something my wife has to have. The pulled pork had a good smokey flavor, I got the jalapeno bun which was great as well. Their BBQ sauce was really tasty as well, the spicy version was just that… Spicy, but not overly hot. I threw some jalapenos on top, and it was perfect. Also got the fried jalapenos which were really good. The people working there were extra friendly which was nice as well. We will be back for sure.

Wow. Everything was awesome. The finally added fried okra and they give you a huge pile. I wished they still did the free pinto beans. They stopped because of Covid. Well, Covid is gone. Bring back the free beans. They cost almost nothing and they taste so good. This place is awesome. 2 huge plates of food for 32.00.

I’m not from the area. But I’m here now!! I’ve had such a hard time finding a good BBQ. A lot of people give me the “oh my God” I know the perfect place. It’s not a perfect place and I was bummed. I thought I wasn’t going to get good BBQ anymore. **** UNTIL NOW*** Oh my Lord! I love the location. The food is to die for. You guys made my day as well as my families. This is pretty good stuff If we’re grading on the chain scale. It can’t really hold up to the big guys like Tejas, Corkscrew, or Bar A but it’s not bad. I think the cook on the meats is done pretty well initially but it feels like maybe they’ve been sitting around in a warming tray. The sides are very good, service is nice, and the room is comfortable and barbecuey. I’ll go back for the convenience and the comfy vibe.
