Great pizza. Large, floppy slices that fill you up and have that salty pizza bite that NYC style is known for. The staff are the owners, take pride in both their product, their community, and their customers. You’ll walk away with a smile on your face.

Ladies and gentlemen, your search is over. You’ve been asked to RTO, and the only thing that will make the office bearable is a go-to lunch spot. This is the real deal, and the people here make it. I take a *bus* during my lunch break to get here, it’s that good. Out of all the pizza I’ve had in my life, Pino’s is on the Mt. Rushmore, along with amazing conversation. I was wearing my Pittsburgh Penguins hat and right off the bat we were talking about the glory days of Super Mario! Best $9 you’ll ever spend for two slices and a drink served up hot and fresh by the greatest characters in the twin cities, don’t even care if I miss the bus to the office back when I come here over and over again. Love you guys.

The guys here are fantastic. Even if their pizza was bad I’d still go for the conversation. That being said, the pizza is just fantastic. Easily top 3 pizzas I’ve had the pleasure of eating. Pair that with the team behind the counter, you have my favorite pizza shop.

I have been eating their pizza for over 30 years. My dad used to take me here on our Skyway walks. Now I take my daughter whenever we go to the Children’s Museum. One of the best pizzas around. Pino and the staff are the best. Only open during lunch hours To give you an idea of how great they are. They opened 34 years ago and in that time they are the only place in the Skyway that is still the same. They have out lasted everybody.

You gotta love these guys. Big talkers, big personalities, big slices. I happened to walk in near closing time, so the slice selection was limited. There was one cheese slice left, and it became mine. In talking with Pino, he asked me to come back earlier in the day next time so I could sample a larger selection. So while enjoying my slice, I saw him throw in another pie and thought that was odd because they were closing and trying to sell off what they had left. Come to find out, it was for me. When it was done, I hear Pino calling from behind the counter for me to come up. He gave me a slice for free. He wouldn’t take payment. So I told him fine, I’ll buy two more for the road. Him and his son were very grateful (and loud and boisterous which truthfully was awesome). I gave the slices away to a woman on the street, and Pino’s is now my favorite pizza shop in St Paul. The pizza was superb, and the owner was a joy.

The workers were super friendly!! It would def be worth it to pay for the parking and not walk a mile from the cathedral, especially in the winter, but the pizza was good
