Came to this restaurant after going to the Pour and Bar across the street and leaving because of an extremely limited menu . So glad we did . Service was very good. Restaurant was crowded but we were able to get right in .

Love the food always, but I find it so rude how without fail everytime I call to order they just answer saying “Thai orchid pls hold” and don’t even give you the option to say hello. It’s so uninviting and not personable what so ever. And they quote me a time and I always end up waiting an extra ten to fifteen minutes extra when I arrive. Which that’s not a big deal but makes me think they don’t even bother starting my order until I actually show up to get it.

Doesn’t matter if the food is good or not. Have not even received my food yet. They would not give a basic fried rice with a meal. If you want more than the white rice you have to order an entire order of fried rice along with everything else you ordered. I have eaten at Chinese restaurants from San Fransisco, CA to Amsterdam, Netherlands…EVERY other one has allowed for a substitution (upcharges ok…of course since it is a higher level of ingredients).

Food here is excellent, especially for up north, but the service is atrocious (I’m not talking about waitstaff which very well may be wonderful). Rather, the owner has a strict policy that if you show up within 30 minutes BEFORE close, there is no way in hell you’ll be served. No sit down. No carry out. I asked why they don’t just make the closing time 30 minutes earlier…no response.

A lovely restaurant. We have been twice now and both times we enjoyed. Nice, cozy atmosphere and great food. We were there for about 6:30pm and most tables were full. They had a constant line for pick-up, its very popular. We ordered drunken noodle and shrimp fried rice, we would order again.

Food was just all right. Was kind of surprised at how colorless everything was. Pad Thai chicken with ok flavor but no heat to it. Husband had drunken noodles and again, very little heat. Super surprised as Thai restaurants at home even mild spice has heat to it. Super long wait for the server to take our order and another super long wait for it to come out. People who arrived after us were finished before we were. With all the other dining options in Petoskey, I was wishing we had not wasted one of our vacation dinner opportunities on this restaurant. Still, food was edible, albeit disappointing.

Everything was fresh and flavorful! We were served surprisingly fast considering how busy it was in there. We got the fried crab wontons and tofu curry pad Thai. Absolutely loved it, 10/10!
