This is by no means the fanciest steakhouse out there, but we did not mind the casual vibe. My husband got the salad to start, which was a good, but pretty basic garden salad. I got the cheddar wild rice soup, and it was hands down the best soup I’ve ever had in my life. I would do almost anything to get my hands on that secret family recipe! My husband ordered a steak for his entree with a side of steak fries, which he said were very good. I ordered the chargrilled chicken breast, which came with wild rice and was topped with a sort of honey mustard sauce. The chicken was moist, the wild rice was cooked perfectly, and the sauce made the dish very flavorful. I would love to come back to visit Ely and eat here again!

The atmosphere is more pub than steak house. I’m good with that. Family owned and operated. The place was full and for good reason. They had enough staff to take care of everyone’s needs. I had a “black and blue salad”. The steak was cooked to perfection. They have just enough selection on their wine list to fine one you’ll enjoy. If I’m ever back in Ely, I’ll be back here.

Very family friendly and feels like a more intimate version of Texas Roadhouse. (But no peanuts ) Their potatoes and steak were soooooooooo good. Plus we had a great time watching the Price is Right reruns! Made me think of my great grandmother. We’re looking for reasons to come back ASAP ☺️

Food wasn’t necessarily bad but definitely not great. From an enjoyment aspect it ranks a big fat zero. Service at the table was great but the service prior to was horrible. Once we were finally seated we were placed next to what appear to be part of the dining room but they used it also as a sidework station. I’ll try to upload pictures of that seem pretty sad considering the cost of the food. One thing is for sure I will never go back on a busy evening but overall I feel like I need to try it again on a not so busy evening to see if it was just that night.

Overall nice steakhouse- had a good selection of food options from salads, burgers, chicken and of course steak- there were also specialty cocktails and a lounge area with darts pool and some sports tv- Classic small town feel where there is no rush and things will get there when they get there. Total for 4 people with no cocktails was almost $150- overall a little pricey for the area but the food was spot on. Nice job from the Kitchen staff
