From someone who has been cooking since Childhood and has tasted food from multiple countries, I can tell you I rate the food very high. In my top 5 Mexican cuisine restaurants I’ve been in. And there have been many. The atmosphere was pretty good. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The carne asada tacos were great. The refried beans were delicious. Not sure about the shredded chicken as I didn’t try any, but the steak was amazing. Worth a drive into San Pedro to try it yourself. (Menu in my photos)

We love stopping in here during the week food is always great and they take my food allergies very serious. Saturday was a first for us didn’t even realize they had a brunch menu. It was busy and they were short staffed but Lilly, Niko and Graciela absolutely crushed it!!!! Way to provide excellent service and show team work!!

We visited Puesta Del Sol for my birthday dinner. The service staff was wonderful, patient, and accommodating. The food was excellent and plenty of it.. Prices were moderate, not too expensive. The food was excellent and plenty of it. I would recommend Puesta Del Sol for lunch or dinner anytime.

The locals know this is a great place, and before the pandemic, this was the spot for a local fun weekend. Friday and Saturday, they offer karaoke nights, the ambiance gets going, enjoy singing, listening, and eating all in one place. The food is good. Any dish you choose has good taste, accompanied with your favorite drink from beer to any cocktail this is a great place. If you want a good night fun in San Pedro, this will be the place.

Our group of 4 had breakfast here on Father’s Day 2023 on our way to LAX, after a week in Mexico where Mexican food on our resort was nonexistent. This was exactly what we wanted for the last week!! Sunday Brunch (also served on Saturday, 10a-3p both days) prices were amazing (includes with 2 complimentary mimosas)!! Entrées were sizable so took many leftovers home), great tasting house-made salsas and hot sauces. Liliana was our server and simply a delightfully welcoming host who was truly the cherry on top of our great experience. My BIL/SIL live 6 minutes away and will be back often, we will be back in November. 10/10 recommend!

We have been coming here for many years and the last time they changed management, everything really improved from the earlier years. So their food and service had remained good for several years, but tonight they really had a bad night. We had a reservation for a large party for 6:30 and were not seated until about 6:50. Our drink orders were finally taken at around 7:20 and we asked for more chips since by that time, we had eaten them all. The drinks didn’t come for another 20 minutes, only after asking, but the 3 bar drinks took another 10 minutes after asking for them again, twice. Our dinner order was finally taken at around 8:20, after we had to flag waiters down to ask them to take our order. We asked for chips again, but those never came. A table next to us ordered after we did and their food came out quickly and they were served sooner. Our food finally came out at around 8:45 and it was all lukewarm and very overcooked and salty. The check came with a 19.5% gratuity automatically included. We asked the waiter to remove it and we added only a 10% since this was not completely their fault since they clearly were not staffed properly for the number of tables they seated at the same time. Although the waiters apologized numerous times, not once did they offer us anything as a gesture of good will. Not a bowl of ice cream for the kids, not a watered down drink for the adults paying, not even a soft drink for all the time we spent waiting for those to be refilled. Nothing, zero, zilch, just an apology and an expectation that we will return and do this again for another 20% gratuity. I hope that this is not a sign that this restaurant will be going back down hill like they did before. We stopped going there for a long time then and so I guess its time to stop again.

Do not go to this restaurant if you are black, they are racist very rude, poor service and if you’re black, you will not get served. They only will serve their people which is Hispanics and for I can see whites I have never felt so disrespected in my life

Very disappointed.. upon arriving staff said it was a 45 minutes wait but turned out to be 1 hour 15 minutes. We couldn’t understand and asked many times why there were empty tables and no one cleaning them so customers could be seated. No response. Finally after being seated the waiter was very nice and took our food and drink order. Drinks were brought to the table within about 15 minutes but two drinks were forgotten and had to wait an additional 30 minutes for those drinks to be brought to us. It took roughly an hour to get our meals. One meal out of seven meals ordered was hot the taquitos soggy my burrito was good but not warm and they never came back to check to ask if we need any refill or order more drinks.
