Did someone say HUSH PUPPIES?!? What an amazing experience. The food is fantastic. The service is even better. THEY HAVE HUSH PUPPIES HERE. My friend and I went a little crazy with our order since it was our first time and I struggle with making tough decisions at bbq restaurants. The only thing I knew for certain was that the HUSH PUPPIES were going down. I have a weakness for smoked and then fried chicken wings and pulled pork and Mac n cheese. So we got them all and then some including HUSH PUPPIES. Everything tasted fantastic. They have a myriad of sauce options and the staff was very engaging in regards to options, do you want this or that on the side, etc. 11 out of 10. Will definitely eat here again! Oh, I almost forgot to mention, they also have HUSH PUPPIES!!

Greg and Ian were fantastic! We got catering for an event with ~50 people, and every single one of them told me how amazing the food was. We had some left over and everyone was happy to take some home with them, especially the brisket and mac & cheese. The guys were great with communication throughout the planning process! They were also very accommodating when I told them we had a lot of allergy based dietary restrictions. Amazing food, great people, we highly recommend these guys!

Food presentation and customer service was good! But the ribs WERE NOT cooked all the way through, you really need to take your time with ribs no short cuts. The pulled pork lacked seasoning. I wish the food tasted as good as it looked.

Shout out to Ian who was super amazing giving us recommendations and excellent service. We got sampler platters and they were top-notch. The Bama hot sauce wings and Dino rib were my favorite part of the meal. The hush puppies are massive and delicious.

First time visit here and I wish I had taken some photos of the food, but we couldn’t wait to dig in! We had the chicken and waffles and the Alabama chicken sandwich and both were amazing. Chicken was tender, moist and full of flavor. Highly recommend a visit if bbq is your thing! UPDATED – Adding pics from our second visit. Still amazing!!!

Sophie’s BBQ was super good! I took my mom here for her birthday dinner and the food was exceptional. The portions are great, we had more than enough food with some to take home, the corn bread was substantial, and the meats were cooked perfectly! Also, parking is cheap and very accessible and they have outdoor seating!

Brisket cheese steak HORRIBLE! Nothing how it was advertised on the picture it’s dry brisket with cheese slapped on top! And it has no flavor. The picture has an American cheese on the brisket. They should specify if the cheese changed. But this is not how a cheese steak is cooked.

Very tasty brisket sandwich. Next time I’ll ask for the bbq sauce on the side bc the brisket is delicious without it. The corn bread has a touch of maple cinnamon in it which is quite tasty.

Stopped in at Bald Birds in Audubon and had a brisket sandwich and fries from Sophie’s. The service was great and the brisket was some of the best I ever had. Highly recommended.
