My first Charley’s original Philly cheesesteak, and it was super delicious! The service is great! The atmosphere could be a little cozier inside the Shops at RiverCenter Mall, downstairs in the food court. But other than that, it was an excellent experience.

My wife, son and grandchildren drove to San Antonio from North Dallas for the Tiger Rock National Competition and after a long day decided to try some cheesesteaks from Charlie’s. We spent $81 and some change for 2 kids meals with 3 adult sandwich combos that was supposed to include chips and a drink as our selections.

Locates in the River Center Mall food court. The sandwich was just OK. Did have much flavor, but it was made fresh and the meal (with French Fries ) was hot. I was looking for the Classic Philly that I had in Houston (which was VERY GOOD), but they didn’t have it on the menu. Probably won’t return to this Charley’s Cheesesteak.

I see the fries, I order them, because they sound nice and I don’t know if you guys were just too sleepy or something but my bacon was cold like very cold and so was my cheese… if anything probably the fries alone would have tasted ok.
