Place was pretty full and there were only three people working. They were all working hard and the service was great. Food is always very good. A few observations though, I feel like you get more soup if you get it to go. Also the sauce on the broccoli tempora is more evenly spread in the to go container. Neither of those are major issues, highly recommend!

Japan Restaurant in Denver hit it out of the park as always. The food was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed everything from Crunchy Salmon Rolls, Teriyaki Chicken and Fillet Mignon, Hibachi Shrimp, to Cream Cheese Wontons and Egg Rolls. Every dish was a hit, especially the Onion Soup – honestly, it was the best soup I’ve ever tasted.

Always fresh and delicious! I get the bento box with teriyaki steak and the Philadelphia roll. Shrimp and teriyaki sauces are on point. This is the best Japanese restaurant out of the ones in Denver, Mount Holly, Stanley, and Huntersville in my opinion.

So happy with my experience at Japan. I had to go back to pick up my ginger sauce that was left off the order and realized that they had included carrots with the order, my son is mildly sensitive to carrots. They made a whole new order without the carrots. I love Japan and would go out of my way to eat here!

If you’re new to this restaurant and ordering takeout, I would recommend exercising caution before placing your order. My recent experience left much to be desired. I ordered sushi, the salmon hibachi, and a side of broccoli and shrimp.

Service was okay, sushi is not good. Fortunately I did not get food poisoning but the smoked salmon tasted off and the crab is imitation. For the area I guess it’s not bad but I would go to Gastonia or Huntersville for sushi.

I recently visited Japan restaurant in Denver and unfortunately had a negative experience. Firstly, my food order was incorrect and as a result, I had to drive an additional 20 minutes each way to get it fixed. This was a frustrating inconvenience that could have easily been avoided with better attention to detail.

Went on for birthday Desserts. My Daughter had the Mango Mochi ice cream she loved it said it was very good. I had the cheese cake and also enjoyed it. We drank the Jasmin tea very tasty. Celeste did a great job.
