This is one of the best sushi places in Queens. I’ve tried a lot of other places, but this is incredible. The sushi here is fresh and the quality of the fish is very good. The sushi rice isn’t overwhelming with vinegar, most of the sushi places add in a lot of vinegar.

Pretty average sushi, but the delivery service is awful! They canceled my order by email only so when I call back to check on it, they told me they canceled by email instead of calling! I had to place the order over the phone and wait another hour for my average overpriced food to arrive, and they forgot my white peach soda! Btw, the soda comes in a plastic cup not a bottle and it taste like fake homemade soda, while I expected an Asian drink. The dumplings had no flavor and were dried. The salmon tartare was the same. Awful service and delivery, but worse of all it was for an overpriced average food. Order from somewhere else!

Feels a lot like I’m in Tokyo here. Service was fast, sushi was excellent & I tried Ramune for the first time. It was not too busy since it was toward dinner and a rainy day. It felt like an authentic Japanese atmosphere & the waiter was friendly. If I have another opportunity to eat here I will invite friends. They gave me a lot more Sushi then I expected for the price.

Was walking around Woodside with my girlfriend and we stumbled upon this gem. Decided to get a small appetizer, the tuna tango, and to share a fried noodles (soba) with shrimp. They actually put a decent amount of shrimp to my surprise. Both plates were very tasty, and also very light on the stomach. Good portions in my opinion and definitely would recommend. Try the tuna tango!! Super unique plate.

Matsuri in Woodside is a solid Japanese restaurant, great for a casual family meal. They serve tasty sushi, delectable chicken katsu, and other traditional dishes. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. It’s worth a visit if you’re craving some Japanese cuisine.

Very polite service and clean spacious atmosphere. The food was delicious as well as the green tea they serve you upon arrival. My mother is a picky eater but she loved the chicken teriyaki so we will definitely be coming back, once a week hopefully
