I saw this place as I was heading to a different business and decided to stop and try it on the way home. Walking in, I immediately noticed West Bank Street East is not a fancy place visually but was clean and functional. There were multiple vertical rotisseries cooking various meats and the aroma was mouth watering I got the beef shawarma and a side of hummus. Both were excellent, the beef was savory and the hummus was some of the best I’ve tried in many years. The staff was helpful and friendly which is always greatly appreciated. They were kind enough to be in one of my pictures of their fine business. If you have a craving for shawarma and hummus, stop by West Bank Street East and enjoy the delicious food they serve. Fantastic taste! We got the chicken shawarma which they make in house along with the beef. They also make the wraps as well. Everything was so delicious. I cannot wait to go back. The service was excellent. She explained everything and even let us try a sample to make sure we wanted it in our wrap.

Absolutely delicious the food is made fresh and authentic! Portions are well worth the price and the service was icing on the cake! Lastly, the venue is clean and offers outside seating! Thank you so much, guys, we will definitely be back! Gonna work on these leftovers

Looks like I have to add to the outstanding reviews. I am really glad you guys are adding to the diversity of the local food options with amazing flavors, fresh quality, and great service. I got a build your own shawarma with beef and lamb. The meat was very tasty, but very dry possibly since it was evening and those meats were on the rotisserie a long time. The amount of meat was fantastic, enough for 3 meals. The sauces were very good. I didn’t think there was enough condiment veggies (pickles, cabbage, etc) for the amount of meat. The wrap was a little too dry and crumbled a bit. The tables are big enough for 2 maybe 3 people. Great for lunch or take out. The people were all very nice. I’ll go back, but probably for lunch or a takeout dinner.
