BBQ chain restaurant good for big groups. They don’t take reservations and it was about a half an hour wait to be seated (we were there around 7 on a Friday). There’s indoor and outdoor dining. There’s plentiful parking in the shared lot. Credit cards are accepted. They have paper pig crowns for the kids (and those young at heart). Stalled bathrooms are available in the back where the patio entrance is.

Really bad service. The food – BBQ – came out semi cold. No BBQ sauce came on the super thinly sliced brisket (in a BBQ based restaurant!). We asked for some BBQ sauce, which was brought over about 30 minutes after. FYI, our server walked by us at least five times after we asked for the sauce. And, there were may be six tables in the whole restaurant (it was before 4pm on Friday). The meat was about five thin slices, bacon size in width, laid on a piece of white toast, with no flavor. The chicken was the better of the two. Cornbread was cold >>> super ☃️ ❄.

When you order BBQ and the best thing you ate is the corn bread… Ugh! I was so excited to receive my Door Dash order then so disappointed. The ribs in their web pics appear succulent and delicious. Mine that arrived were all dried up and hard like jerky. Awful. I asked for “bare” ribs, but expected some type of sauce on the side- got nothing. I hate to think they sent me overcooked ribs because I wasn’t at the restaurant to notice. Lots of bare bones visualized when opening my box, which right away made me very dismayed . Thumbs down.

BBQ meal for two was our dinner for last day of 2021. Pretty impressed with selection of food items in this package: 4 pieces of corn on cob, bbq chicken, 2 sliced of sandwich bread, brisket, sticky fall off the bone ribs, side of macaroni and mashed garlic potatoes with corn bread. Wow, ran out of breath.

It’s been about 5 years since I’ve found a Famous Dave’s since they cut down their location numbers. So when my boyfriend found one we drove a few hours north to celebrate Father’s Day, but just a heads up ok! They don’t have the same menu online and for their restaurant, we drove a long ways to have some famous Dave’s brisket and onion strings, just get there and be told they only serve those items for online orders. I mean we still ate there since we drove all that way, it wasn’t the same with out our favorites and the waitress was a sweetheart but it was a disappointment.
