Perfect date night pick. The atmosphere is very nice..service is great and the food is some of the best we have ever had. Tried their fresh squeezed lemonade last night, calamari, and for the meal salmon and shrimp in lemon butter with mofongo OMG a flavor explosion in my mouth!! SO GOOD! My husband had the steak and onion Mofongo..not sure which one was better. They were both fantastic.

Very clean, we were seated immediately. Nice soft music that you could have a conversation at your table. Our server Manuela was very friendly, courteous and checked on us often. We ordered the calamari as appetizer. Ordered, trifongo wit h camarones rellenos de masa de cangrejo, trifongo con masitas de cerdo, mofongo with filete de pargo. Some wine to savor with the food. For dessert tres leches and brownies with ice cream. Finished with expresitos. The presentation and taste was excellent. Definable going back next month.

This is a great place to eat. Location is right off of 441, parking is easy, there’s outside seating, the inside is well decorated, comfortable, and clean. The food is delicious. We ordered three different mofongo dishes and they all were great. The food presentation is excellent as well. Would recommend!

The food was delicious, the restaurant very clean and the staff gave excellent service. I had the mofongo with salmon and the empanadas were delicious too. The very cold Medalla beer made the meal even better.

friendly staff nice room, but was not cozy for me…the tables were too close to each other for my comfort, felt uncomfortable hearing a couple getting a divorce, a retired married couple thinking about going back to work ….…tabletop was glass, we prefer linen…our plates and glasses were moving around when cutting or dipping slurps, Lol…the calamari appetizer was fun…wish I did not have to look for someone to acquire more iced water tho…the restaurant was not that busy…my lobster was a bit hard and overcooked, I should have anticipated it may be frozen…the steak came out nice and tender…mofongo was needing passion and more flavor, maybe more garlic and needs love, forget about the book, add passion, when you have it it will come out of your foods. tostones was slurpy these were fun

First off, the food is fantastic! 10 stars!! Decided to try El Palacio del Mofongo out on a slower night. We were seated immediately but had to wait a bit longer than normal for water and drink order. When the server finally came over (VERY friendly, informative and patient – I ask a lot of questions), she immediately poured us some water and took our drink order than came back to the table with some bread (excellent bread!). Then, again, we had to wait a bit longer than normal for her to return to answer some questions and to take the food order. The food took some time to get to the table but it was definitely worth the wait. The only small disappointment (why only 4 vs 5 stars) was the lack of table visits. Throughout the course of our meal we had to wait – wait for drink refills, wait for additional items needed, etc. This problem would be easily solved if the restaurant had a roving busser assisting the busy servers – thereby alleviating the long delays in service. Outside of that, everything was terrific! The restaurant is clean, great music, pretty decor, well-spaced tables, great food value and portions and EVERYBODY is friendly. We will definitely be back for more! If you’re shopping along SR7 and hungry, be sure to check this place out – you will not be disappointed!!
