We would definitely eat here again. Food was good, would not get the lobster roll again but the clam chowder was DELICIOUS as was my husbands blackened grouper sandwich. Hush puppies were the BEAT I’ve ever had! Atmosphere is great and the service was phenomenal!!! Drinks were also good. They have a nice sized parking lot and we got there at 3:30 so we were seated immediately.

Lively Atmosphere, friendly service, and decent timed service! Parking fills up fast we came around 5 and there happened to be a couple spots open! I ordered the Buffalo Shrimp from the appetizer menu so it didn’t come with sides but was able to add a side item for extra cost! I got the hush puppies, they could use more seasoning but yummy nonetheless.

So being a chubby girl I’ve had my fair share of grouper sandwiches. But let me tell you tonight I have discovered the most amazing beer-battered grouper sandwich I have ever tasted in my entire life! Our evening started with our phenomenal server Lauren making sure she suggests the right things for us to try and we heated her advice. We ordered the beer battered grouper the french fries and the grouper rubin. Not only were the drinks amazing but the food was top-notch! It was literally the best grouper sandwich I have ever had I know I said that before but I really mean it. I will be adding PJ’s Oyster Bar to my list of favorite restaurants to bring friends to. The manager John Brown came over and he was absolutely Charming and fantastic making sure that we were satisfied with our order and the service. He was such a breath of fresh air. I will definitely be paying more visits to this restaurant because it was such a great experience.

This was my first time at this restaurant. The food was very good! I had the blackened scallops, shrimp and grouper. Was the perfect blend of heat, very good. The atmosphere is cool as it has fun retro decorations. Staff here was very friendly and helpful. Worth the stop of in the area!

I’ve been here twice now so I’m doing my due diligence and leaving my 5 stars here. It’s a great spot to go eat after a lengthy beach day. The Chicago style oysters were so good which lots of cheese, butter, and lemons to top it off! We also got the garlic butter scallops and boiled shrimp, both which lived up to our satisfaction. Very laidback and casual atmosphere and awesome service from the staff! I want to start making this place as a part of my beach day routines because it’s just easy and straight up great.

Fun atmosphere but there are better seafood restaurants in town. New England Clam chowder app ($6) was good but my Wife makes it better, just ask her. I had the Grouper, Shrimp and Scallops combo Blackened TOO Salty! Shrimp was overcooked. Baked potato came with 48% vegetable spread, ask for real butter. Wife had the Fish Tacos – plain and boring. We can get better tacos in Minnesota – step it up! My son liked the Lobster Roll, best he had in town and he said the key Lime Pie had the best filling but not the best crust. Will skip this one next time.

I was super impressed with this restaurant and the service! Not only was all the food absolutely divine, but so was our waitress. She was so attentive and helpful with us! I definitely recommend the scallops in garlic butter sauce, by the way. They were cooked to perfection! 10/10 recommend this place for some quality seafood.

Ordered the grouper sandwich with fries and it was a big portion, and very tasty. The only thing I would change is to have blackened fish rather than beer battered, but might be more a personal preference. It was nice to have tartar sauce available on the table too.
