The hubs and I came in town from Missouri for his work conference. We’re heading home tomorrow, but had to try some local food before we left out. This place was amazing! Our waitress, Elsis, was the sweetest thing, and the food was fantastic! I’m so glad the portions are huge, cause we definitely have leftovers ♥️

This place is so good. Huge portions for a great price. We showed up about 20 minutes before closing and we never got rushed or made to hurry. The food was delicious and fresh. The server was friendly and helpful. We will be stopping in whenever we pass through the area for sure.

Great local food, people and clientele. Down to earth real nothing fancy except for the excellent tasting food. I had a baked potato with seafood gumbo that included a topping of crispy fried shrimp with melted cheese and a sprinkle of green scallions. Yumm It was called out as Fried Sea potato. I cant wait to return to try other menu items. My associate Simon had an incredible dish of Fried shrimp gumbo. with side of fried shrimp and okra mix. Iced tea and Arnold Palmer that was a little too sweet. But don’t judge this restaurant by its exterior. It is over top great local tasty food. Service was outstanding by Stacey.

Amazing food! Had the chicken and sausage gumbo along with a crawfish po boy. Excellent bread which is important for a poboy. Great prices.

Great service and amazing food. Me and my girlfriend arrived at around 7:20 pm, and they close at 8. But they still did an amazing job. I’d recommend them to anyone who’s in the area and gets hungry.

I ordered the small fried fish plate with french fries and two hush puppies. It was delicious and vary filling the portions were huge if that was the smaller plate I can only imagine how big the bigger plate would be. So to say the least I have to say I was very satisfied through with my first experience. The only thing I would change about it if I had to it would be the wait time, but it was during the dinner rush so that is to be expected.

Must stop place if in Baton Rouge food is outstanding as is the service. Even during the busy lunch rush.

Amazing and favorable cajun food! Shrimp, crawfish, and catfish all in one geaux. The messy fries for the appetizers are well worth the money spent and honestly could be your meal by itself. My mom and I couldn’t even finish one plate of messy fries together!

Food was super bland and disappointing. We ordered the shrimp platter with a side of seafood gumbo, and catfish poboy to go. The shrimp was fine but fries were soggy and had no seasoning. Hush puppies were dry and had no flavor. Gumbo was basically water with shrimp in it. Catfish poboy was not good in general. For $38, we should’ve went somewhere else.

The food is usually pretty good. I’m not a fan of their gumbo. They really, really need to sweep their entrance way. Cigarette butts and litter everywhere. Not a good welcome.
