Been wanting to go to this place for a while now. I will say that aesthetics are very nice. When we got there, we went straight to the back to order food. Martha C customer’s service was awful. She was not welcoming. You could tell that she really didn’t wanna be there or serve us. Proceeded with our order anyway. We both got Birria tacos and the Mexican street corn. While we waited for the food to be ready, we went to the bar. Our server was Wendy, she was amazing. Drinks were definitely strong and on point and she was quick with it. My husband went and got the food once it was done, and we ate at the bar. The food was delicious. I wish they would’ve given more of the green salsa to go with the tacos, but other than that I can’t complain. I honestly would go back just so Ms. Wendy could make me some drinks, she the reason why I gave this review 4 stars.

It’s a wonderful place. I go with my family and friends all the time.What I like the most is that it’s always clean, smells great. The food amazing and fresh. The bartenders are always with a smile even if they are busy. And on top of that they have 2 private rooms for meetings, celebrations etc. Thanks to all the staff; cooks, cleaning crew, bartenders for having a place that you can go and enjoy a great time.

The speakeasy across the street had a 2 hour wait time so we waited here until we were called. The location is cool, love the concept but I think the bartenders have to pay more attention to the folks at the end of the bar. We sat at the end and saw people walk up in the middle, get drinks but we had to literally wait for about 15-20 minutes until we finally called out a bartender to order! The drinks were good but the cocktails could be a little more strong!

Beautiful sitting area, beautiful bar and love the pool table. Only two restaurants open at this time. We had a hot chicken sandwich and tamales. They were tasty.

A++ for the atmosphere!! This is a beautiful place. Mixed use room with a large bar and several food options. Had a variety of tacos, carne asada, chorizo, chicken, shrimp. The tacos were fresh and tasted great. However the toppings were ice cold and essentially ruined the overall taco flavors. Milanesa Torta was fantastic. Good size and filled to the max. Hopefully The Assembly Room will live on in New Britain as it’s such an awesome space. Tacos were “ok”, Milanesa Torta was awesome.

Me and a group of friends stop by here after we left an amazing spot a few blocks up the name of the bar is I Know you know. Great atmosphere, customer service and friendly vibes. Get to this spot as soon as we walked in the owner grabbed the pool sticks and informed our party (well dressed group of minorities) that they are broken Then we order a round of shots 11 Tequilas instead of 10 tequilas 1 Hennessy VSOP. Informed the bar keep she like np let me get you your shot. The owner comes over and says well you’re gonna have to pay the difference Im like ok np… then he goes on to say, well we can’t pour it bck in the bottle. I responded of course not that would be disgusting and nobody asked you to pour it bck I needed it to be exchanged and I’ll pay the difference as you mentioned with np because the wrong shot was given. He quickly cuts me off and says no 11 Tequila shots was requested we can’t accommodate you. Then at the end of the night we closed our tab my friend paid with her card and I was going to tip when he grabbed the receipt from my friends hands he said very snarky “thanks for the tip” not knowing I was gonna tip him after not even providing good customer service. After that we just left. Needless to say I will never return to this establishment again.
