Excellent brisket, char siu pork belly, sausage, jalapeno cornbread, and mac n cheese! No matter how long the line looks, it’s worth the wait. The slaw was pretty good, too.

The reviews on this place are correct about great Barbecue. The wait was about 45 minutes on the weekend just after the place opened. We had everything that they offered with the Beef Ribs having the best flavor and very tender. The Brisket was very juicy and tender. Tri Tip was disappointing and on the dry side. The sausages were really good and flavorful. A must try!!!

First time eating here on n July 30th 2023, The wait was 1hr & 30mins long & I stood in line before they opened Sunday morning. Good thing is that they have a brewery so I purchased a hazy while waiting. And Yes I can sat it was WORTH THE WAIT! The meat that myself and 2 friends order to share was the Tri Tip, Brisket, beef ribs, chicken, sausage, pork belly and for sides corn bread & Mac n cheese.

If you’re a fan of Texas-style BBQ, then you definitely need to check out Heritage BBQ in San Juan Capistrano. As someone who loves the bold flavors and slow-cooked meats of Texas BBQ, I was thrilled to find such a great spot close to home in Oceanside. But be warned – you’ll want to get there early for lunch, as the line can get pretty long and understandably so.

Don’t be intimidated by the probably huge line that will likely be there when you arrive, because this is the best BBQ in Orange County.

This place is good! And don’t be put off by the line. It is totally worth the wait. Don’t go if you are in a rush, or on a lunch hour. It takes a while to place your order. But once you do, the food comes quickly and boy is it delicious. The brisket is outstanding and the tacos were a delicious surprise. Add the corn and slaw. Definitely put this restaurant on your wish list.

Best barbecue in orange county hands down. Get there early as the line gets long and they sell out of some of their meats. The food is worth the wait. They have a bar on the side where you can buy beer, soda, and other drinks to enjoy while your in line. Great food and great service.

So good, pulled pork and tri tip tacos, street corn, blueberry lavender lemonade seltzer. Service was great. When we got our tacos, they had avocado sauce on them (this was not listed on the menu). They replaced them right away (allergic).

Very crowded. Showed up before it opened on a weekday at 10:50 but didn’t order till 11:40, be prepared with hats and sunglasses. Service is fast after ordering. Two of us ordered chicken, pork belly, brisket, slaw and elote, we had leftovers. About 70 bucks total so decent value. Pork belly and elote were amazing. Chicken was dry, brisket had good flavor but wasn’t juicy, slaw was pretty average. I would come back a for a few things to try, but overall I’m not sure if the food is worth waiting in such a long line for.

This place-just wow. This is the best barbecue spot that I’ve been to and it is definitely worth a drive. I was able to try a bit of everything and my favorite thing was the tri-tip- it was really soft and the flavor was packing. Their mac and cheese wasn’t bad but I really loved their potato salad. I’d say the next time I come back, I’d just get their trip-tip, brisket, and potato salad. Their banana bread pudding was also something I enjoyed but my parents thought it was on the sweeter side. My order came with mustard, barbecue sauce, and pickled vegetables.
