We enjoyed a very good dinner here while passing through on I-80. Food and service were top notch. Prices were reasonable. When we travel, we usually just go with “fast” food, but from when we came in to when our food came was only about 15 minutes.

Came to try this restaurant yesterday and overall it was just OK. Service was fine, friendly server and the food and drinks was brought out quick. I ordered the Jamaica water (traditional Mexican Hubiscus water) and it was lacking flavor as it tasted watered down. I ordered the “Mexican Taquitos” and besides one being a bit burnt, the chicken on the inside had good flavor. The chips red & green salsa was ok – not spicy at all. Restaurant was clean and not busy for a Friday at 5pm. I would go back, try something else on the menu and maybe a margarita.

Had the new Barris taco hope I spelled it right but its the new tacos they have posted everywhere in the restaurant. Well I orded 3 of these tacos with beans and rice and I was so disappointed how they could make this taco so bad, I mean it had no flavor and the dip it tasted just like blob of oil. My son and I had the same thing and he looked at after he took his first bite and said “Dad we should of gone to mc donalds”. I won’t be and wasted money.

The food is simply amazing! I eat a lot of Mexican food and this place does it right. The grilled chicken salad was cooked perfectly tender, juicy and lots of flavor. Nice spacious dining area with private booths and friendly staff. Big menus with a decent selection of average and imports.

We have been going here for years, but over the last year the place has really gone down hill. They don’t get our order right and on top of it the food is not good. Tonight both our dinners were over cook and the meat was very dry. Its almost like they don’t care and gave up. Tonight it was cash only posted on the door and I wish I did not have any cash and would have just left. I would look for another place and not waste your money here.

Food was terrible and expensive. Rice was served cold and white – it was like Chinese takeout. Not all like typical Mexican rice that is orange colored and flavorful. Got steak and chicken tacos both were okay at best – lack of flavor and tiny portions. 6 tacos, one side of rice and beans and 2 soft drinks was $38 without tip. WILL NOT BE BACK.

Cheesy steak on a soft shell with some type of white cheese sauce on it, Rice and beans and a $6.50 frozen margarita that was wow glad I didn’t order the large one haha, Great overall experience, I will be back.
