I don’t know why I keep trying this place when it routinely grossed me out. It’s close. That’s my excuse I guess, but no more. The fried rice is a weird yellow color, the egg rolls aren’t fresh, and any of the sauces-sweet and sour, coconut, etc all taste like they were just dumped out of a can. This last order was IT for me. My chicken pieces tonight were dry and had black spots in them. Needless to say I didn’t eat it, and I hope I’m not sick on the few bites I had. I’m not usually a harsh reviewer, but don’t charge me $13 for black chicken. I just can’t find any redeeming qualities to this place.

This is one of the better Chinese places in the area. We drive from Birdsboro if we’re in the mood for Chinese. The place is clean, I’ve never had a problem with the food. I think they do their Sweet & Sour chicken really well. The white rice is fresh, sticky and fluffy. And the family is extremely kind. I’m more than confident that if some of these reviewers talked to the owner, they probably would have found a solution. I love that I can order online and track my order. I think that their website is set up nicely, and offering a smooth online ordering process is just awesome. Thanks!

Our food was so bland and tasteless. The lo mein was soggy and smelled strange, the fried rice had no taste at all, the chicken in my meal was freezer burnt or something idk but it tasted very weird, the egg rolls had no taste and lastly the wonton soup was so watered down. It had so much ginger in it, and the wontons were so basic tasting and very rubbery. The only thing we enjoyed even slightly were the crab Rangoon, but my boyfriend ended up saying he thought there was too much cream cheese in them. Although the restaurant is clean and the employees are nice , the food is terrible. Ugh. I ended up eating barely any of my food. What a disappointment for the money we paid!!

Food is not fresh and the fried chicken seemed reheated, hard and chewy. Happened twice that we felt like we were given old reheated food instead of fresh. Not okay.

It is very clean, laid out well, Plexiglass around the cashier and kitchen. The order filled quickly, person behind counter kind and helpful. The food is very good enough for me for 2 days. It was a shrimp and broccoli combo. Day 1 I ate only the shrimp. Today reheated the egg roll and it is still crispy. I will be back.

The worst chinese food ive ever had in my life. The teriyaki beef stick was like beef jerkey, bourbon chicken sauce was watery, steamed dumplings stuck together and were filled with water, the rice was bland and mushy, the lack of flavor in everything ordered was astonishing. Im so upset at how much $ I spent for below subpar chinese food.

No. 1 Chinese is a gem of a place to eat. Very clean and comfortable atmosphere. The food selection is huge and the service is friendly. My orange chicken dish has great flavor and the broccoli was perfectly prepared. Definitely recommended!
