Have eaten at other Hungry Howie’s ‘s before and I like this one the best. Delivery is a little expensive but worth it.

Not sure why anyone would knock these guys. I’ve been coming here off and on for the last few years and they have always had great food consistency, quick service, and have been friendly and appreciative. They have even waited for me way after they were closed one time me when I was super late to pick-up my order. They were even friendly and appreciative then.

First order from this location and also the last. Pizzas looked like the driver carried them on their sides with more cheese in the corner of the box than on the crust. Two pizzas ordered yet one was under-cooked and the other over-cooked. Great if you want pizza soup and crispy pizza crackers.

Staff is rude and argued with me. Told me it wasn’t their problem and there was nothing they could do about it. Things happen but at least be nice to your customers. You just lost a weekly order, I will get my pizza somewhere else.

I recently had Pizza from 3 different places and all over the same weekend. I got Hungry Howie’s, Marco’s & Jets. I ordered one Friday night, one Saturday night, and one Sunday night. Each was a Medium and they all had identicle items on them. I purposely did this for a comparison test. All 3 of the pizzas were pretty good, but I definitely was able to pick one as the better of the 3, and pick my least favorite of the 3, both of which is likely to surprise many people. Hungry Howie’s was, hands down my pick or my favorite of the bunch, and Jet’s was my least favorite. Very unlike most people, my very favorite item to get on a pizza has always been Hamburger (ground beef), I prefer that over any other meat choices. That being the case, the hamburger on these 3 pizzas played a big part in my decision to pick my favorite. The hamburger on both Jet’s & Marco’s was almost identical, in both taste & texture, which had just a mediocre taste, and the texture is quite bad because it is very rubbery (not very tender). Hungry Howie’s hamburger, on the other hand, was considerably better by far. Not only was their hamburger much more tender (much like if you had cooked up some burger at home for something like Chili), but the actual taste was several times better. Hamburger tends to be somewhat greasy, which may not be the most healthy choice, but none the less, that grease does give the pizza a good flavor. Also, the actual size of the pieces of burger were exactly the same on the Jet’s & Marco’s, but much larger size pieces on the Hungry Howie’s. Being that hamburger is my favorite item on a pizza, the drastic difference between the burger made it an easy decision to pick Hungry Howie’s as my favorite. However, there are a few downfalls to Hungry Howie’s, which one is directly related to the hamburger. Whenever I order pizza I always order double hamburger. And, when I do that Jet’s and Marco’s both come completely loaded with burger, but quite the contrary with Hungry Howie’s. It would be impossible to take a bite of pizza with a Jet’s or a Marco’s without getting some burger in your mouth, but with Hungry Howie’s you could take a dozen bites over the course of the entire pizza and never get a piece of burger in your mouth. That’s because Hungry Howie’s is EXTREMELY SKIMPY with all their items, but even more so with the burger. There is so much difference in thee amounts of burger put on between the places, that just ordering regular (not double) burger at Jet’s or Marco’s would literally be MORE than when you order double at Hungry Howie’s. That being the case (and it’s always the case, not just occasionally), even tho I prefer Hungry Howie’s over the other 2, I actually order Hungry Howie’s less often, precisely because of the burger issue. All the other items tend to be very comparable in taste with the other 2 places, but you will never get as much of any item at Hungry Howie’s because of how they SKIMP so bad. Also, there’s one other HUGE downfall to ordering from Hungry Howie’s, and that’s because they charge $1.89 per item, when both of the other 2 places charge only $1.49 per item. That’s 40 cents higher per item, and if you usually get 4-5 items on your pizza, that’s considerably higher than buying a pizza at either of the other places. When I bought all 3 recently, I think Jet’s & Marco’s were within a dollar of each other, but Hungry Howie’s was almost $4 more. I’m not sure how Hungry Howie’s stays in business when they charge so much more per item like that. I could see a nickel or a dime higher per item, but 40 cents higher is a huge, HUGE difference! So, the bottom line here is.. Hungry Howie’s makes a pretty good pizza, but all things considered, is it really worth spending your money there!?!

Ordered 40$ worth of nasty food just now , lettuce was so old the bread was gross alot of butter on it but the cheese wasnt even all the way in it. I’m positive we got old food. Never again , find a better local buisness to support …. nothing was warm 45 min after ordering delivery either… but the pop was good.. so disappointed I was hungry. Readon why we should all just cook ..support grocery stores.
