Do not make the drive from Wichita! I live 5 miles from this place and won’t be back. I’ve tried to go 4 times over the last year (usually early 1-2pm) and they have either been closed or out of food. Today was the last straw. Got there at 2:30 to find out cash only which was no problem as there is a cash machine near by. The owner stated “go get some cash and I’ll treat you and your wife to the best bbq meal you’ve ever had!” When we returned 10 minutes later from getting cash from the atm, the same guy looked at me like he’d never seen me before and said he was all out of food. So much for the “best bbq meal”. Keeps unprofessional hours and lied to my face. I will not be back.

Le-J’s is an amazing quintessential American experience. The Barbeque prepared by the proprietor, Jeffery, has utilized family recipes, family tools, and created a product that is absolutely sublime. The brisket, a challenging product to get right, melts in your mouth. The ribs are delightfully good, except that they are always gone too soon.

Great place to eat. Our full loves to eat here. The price yo portion ratio is great for anyone. There is only one owner Jeffery, who wears many aprons as chef, cook, operator, and server. If you any great BBQ and a great family atmosphere and great service this is the place. Look no further behind a shadow of a doubt we will be going back soon.

Most AMAZING BBQ We have ever had! All of the meats were fantastic, the hot links were so moist and tasty, best baked beans I have ever had, and the cole slaw was the sweetest ever. Amazing owner! He gives you the history of his family recipes – it was a must to stop in and eat. You won’t regret it! Bring cash – cash only and worth every penny.

Wow pretty impressed. Meat were perfectly smoked the ribs were falling off bone and u could see the smoke lines, yum! Turkey was dry but very flavorful. Pulled pork was fantastic and the crea bonus for the cook making his own spicy sausages. Overall fantastic service as it’s a one man show but he is super friendly and food was outstanding.
