I was slightly worried because when we arrived here, there were absolutely no other customers in the restaurants. Usually, that’s not a good sign but staff were very attentive. The Coke products were all bottled instead of fountain. The calamari was flavorful and perfectly textured. Great hush puppies and cold slaw. Fish and shrimp tacos were fresh and tasty. Fries were decent.

Had a nice meal here. Got the blackened grouper dinner & crab cake appetizer.. the crab cake was served like a tempura, batter fried! But it was good, little too much breading, but cooked well & tasted good. The grouper was so good, melted on the tongue. Got the green beans & they had malt vinegar for the fries. Only thing keeping this from 5 stars is the meals was served on Styrofoam plates with plastic knife & fork. (!) Still I would return & highly recommend the food & service.

15 mins to close. We had to find seafood for Good Friday. The wait at Olive Garden as planned was 1 hr, so we wanted to try here. We were so glad they still served us, because the food was delicious. You could tell the seafood was never frozen. They were so polite.

I came here to get away from the tourist trap seafood places all around my hotel. One guy was running the entire dining room and taking orders, working the check out counter, serving, etc. He seemed like a decent guy and did his job well. My glass of water was kept full and my plate full of discarded crab was replaced with a fresh one. Speaking of plates, everything being paper/plastic did not bother me.

Fantastic little place with wonderful servers and really nice food. I’d definitely recommend if you are looking for something a little more light hearted and not as crazy as a full fancy restaurant.

Absolutely loved eating here. Server was great and friendly, knew her stuff about the food and where it came from. The fish tacos were some of the best I’ve had. Hubby had the branding and it was so flavorful. One of the best places we ate in Myrtle Beach.

We’ve traveled a lot this year always trying to avoid the “chain” type restaurants.

Appears to be a local business in a little strip mall off the main strip. Found it via Google Maps. The fried fish and shrimp were delicious and cooked perfectly. Little pricey ($22 for special), but decent portions….was worth it. (Managed to take a picture before I ate the last shrimp )

The food was fantastic and affordable! Service was great! It was thankfully recommended by someone or we may have never eaten there…it’s def just a ‘hole in the wall’ type of place with disposable foam plates, which is probably why their prices were affordable, but oh so worth the food! We will definitely be eating there again when we visit! Too bad we stopped on our way home from vacation or we could’ve eaten there a few times 🙂

I’ve been coming to Myrtle Beach for about 5 years and just discovered Mrs. Fish – my new favorite seafood in the area! It’s a no-frills place that focuses on quality, local catches done to perfection. Your food will come on styrofoam plates and you’ll have plastic utensils, but don’t let that dissuade you! The food is great! Treat yourself to the coconut shrimp. I also appreciate that you can get sea scallops – not everywhere has those. And the prices can’t be beat.
