Skillet cafe was ok. Nothing to brag about. We had the lumberjack omlet which is humongous! Only it’s not an omelet and more of a scrambled dish very good and flavorful and great for 2 people to share. I ordered steak and eggs with hash browns and wheat toast. I don’t know what type of steak it was as I wasn’t asked whether I wanted prime rib, ribeye or tbone or something else. The eggs were done well, over easy. The steak was medium and not much flavor. The hash browns were good with the top a slight bit crunchy. The service was really slow, almost felt as if we were being ignored as many others around us were getting more attention. The kicker for me was the fact that I was charged for 2 drinks rather than 1, and needed the check corrected. We attempted to order chocolat a milk, which is on the menu, but they didnt have any. Once I received the check, was charged a convenience fee of $1.07. The place is in a small strip mall, its tiny and not kept up with. The bench seats were old, ripped, and needs updating. The tables were clean, but the floors and other areas seemed to need more cleaning attention. Glad I tried it.

Decided to support small business instead of going to ihop &I definitely didn’t get disappointed glad I tried it! Me &mom tried the Popeyes Omelet &that came with pancakes &a hash brown, very delicious we also topped it off with some homemade chunky salsa very tasty. Staff was so nice &polite made me feel like i was at home, very nice environment &delicious breakfast. Big portions we had enough & even some togo for later.

This place tops any restaurant in all of the Antelope Valley. Excellent food, atmosphere, service, hospitality. Reasonably priced, you get more than you pay for. I’m a big boy, I can eat. This was the very first time in my life that I had to ask for a Togo container. The portions are huge.
