My husband and I decided to try this place on a whim and we are so glad we did. As appetizers we ordered crab and cheese wontons and Chinese egg rolls. Then for our entrees I ordered the Beef Basil and he ordered the Black Pepper Beef. We loved it all! Everything was fresh and super delicious. The restaurant is clean and welcoming and the staff was friendly.

Don’t waste your time or money. Very overpriced for what you get. Rice was crunchy and undercooked. Generally disappointing. Worst dragon and phoenix I ever had. General tso chicken sauce was terrible. First time trying. We won’t be back. Poor experience!

This is very good restaurant. With reasonable prices you can enjoy good Asian foods! Chinese,Vietnamese, Thailand foods and Japan!! You can choose from various tastes! Especially lunch plates are served with appetizer salad and soup. Main rice with meats are super delicious. Finally they serve completely fortune cookie. Well, I”m from Chicago and in my opinion there’s only one Chinese Restaurant in Chicago that remotely comes close to authentic Chinese food. Once coming to Oriental Pearl about 3 years ago, I just couldn’t get the taste of the food out of my mind. To say that it’s delicious is an understatement. I didn’t even want to eat the Chinese food from Chicago anymore. The food is prepared intricately and the taste is unparalleled. And Ben wonderfully greets you with a smile and always remembers your favorite dishes. Believe me, you must go to Oriental Pearl. I assure that you’ll be more than pleased!

I ordered a large shrimp fried rice with extra shrimp. The portion was very small. I asked for extra soy sauce and i found 2 packs in my sealed bag. I did recieve extra shrimp but the portion did not fit the price of $18 for a small portion of rice. Rice was ok just a little bland. I will search for a new chinese spot.
