Have been driving by this place almost daily on my way to work and finally decided to stop in and so glad I did. Surprised there are not many reviews yet! The margaritas were pretty good, wish they had a few more flavors to choose from though like “jalapeño margarita”??? I had the burrito Suezo and it was great, and very large. I got just the burrito and passed on the beans and rice, and it was HUGE, and still had half of it left over. My husband got the 4 tacos and tried the Mexican sausage, coca-cola chicken, and rib eye. Felt the coca-cola was by far the best, I’ve heard a lot about coca-cola chicken but never tried it, definitely had a depth of flavor! The service was great, staff were at our table often asking if we needed anything. Ambiance was also nice, I look forward to visiting when it’s warmer so we can sit outside on the patio! Kudos to this place, they’re doing great! (Just hoping to step up the margarita game a little!)

I’ve eaten here several times and always blown away. The service is amazing and they’re super friendly. The food is delicious and the margaritas are killer. Friday and Sat nights get busy and seating fills fast. I’m a breakfast lover and the huevos con carne is my favorite.

First off the outdoor seeting is wonderfully done. The service here is top notch it was not so long after we ordered the food that it was brought out to us and boy was it amazing. The drinks we had were wonderfully made not overly fruity or strong. If your in the area and enjoy Mexican this place is worth a stop.

My husband and I tried this place for the very first time tonight! All I can say is WOW! THE FOOD WAS truly AUTHENTIC! Amazing experience from start to finish. The staff is friendly and so warm. Our waitress, Liz had a great smile and was so friendly. Lupe and Maria, 2 other employees, came over to check up on us . They all treated us like family. We will be back and I think we found our new favorite Mexican restaurant!

This was the first time at El Soreño after living in Antioch for fifteen years. Since it was crowded and noisy, we asked to sit out on the deck, which was empty and quite. We weren’t out there very long before our waitress came out. We ordered a side of guacamole and it was brought out very quickly, with a half a basket of corn chips. We got our drinks very quickly and dinner was ordered at that time. Since my wife is allergic to dairy and gluten she asked for no cheese or dairy product. I even said to the waitress, make sure they don’t sprinkle cheese on the refried beans.

Everything tasted great from here. I had chicken tostadas, guacamole and a horchata.The server was really nice and kept checking on us. The food and service was great. I will be going back there more. This restaurant feels like a cozy place.

As you can see I have not been posting bad reviews but have decided to. I told my husband not to say yes to the waitress saying “would you like guacamole” as they are putting chips at your table as i read others saying they the charge you. I had to get something from the car and came back to the table and there was a tablespoon size blob of qaucamole with a chip stuck in it. That blob with tax and tip was $10! I would have let go and not write a review but I then ordered a vegetable burrito which was on the menu. The waitress was training another waitress and they both kind of looked at each other. My vegetable burrito was a bunch of shredded lettuce, one slice of avocado and one piece of tomato. This was my 60th birthday dinner. Almost anywhere would have been better than this place!!!!!

We tired for the first time tonight and it was amazing! Their beans are so flavorful, I could have made a meal out of just that! I got a burrito, my husband got tacos and a torta. If you’re looking for real, authentic Mexican food, this is the place! It’s our new go-to for Mexican!
