Ok. This is island in name only. Nothing here tasted like anything from the island. I’m used to places like Mo’ Bettas where meat and veggies are cooked with flavor. Not flavor added. The menu indicated that their fire grilled chicken was the island favorite. Far from it. It’s just regular grilled chicken. I suppose the option to choose a sauce should have given that away. If you’re getting a bowl, you’re better off just getting a kids chicken bowl because it’s still the same and you pay less for that. McDonald’s has more flavor in their meals. Their island Mac is really just regular Mac and cheese minus the flavor (apparently it’s possible). Definitely not worth coming back to.

We were charged 8 dollars over what the menu said it would cost when I went to talk to them, they told us that they couldn’t do anything because the extra charge was just the tax. After pointing out the tax line on the receipt they said “well there is nothing we can do because we don’t have a manager” I have pictures of both the receipt and the menu with the prices being different and will post them after I talk with the manager if they do not fix the amount or end up not meeting with me

I used to love eating here, but this photo is a great example of why we’ve stopped coming… This is my serving of the Thursday special, which I didn’t expect to be a large entree, but seriously! it’s barely even a kids meal size serving… It came with a drink, so for $7 it’s like a paid $1 for a drink and $1 for EACH PIECE OF CHICKEN! plus half a bowl of rice with not nearly enough sauce!

The staff made us wait at the register while they finished their own conversation, apparantly drama in the work place is more important that taking customers orders. Shortly after we got our food and started to eat, they shut off the lights in the dinning area and began to stack chairs. We had no idea what time they were closing because the hours of operation aren’t posted anywhere and none of the staff made it known to us that they were getting ready to close. If your getting ready to close, then you should probably tell your customers, especially if they don’t order to take out. After they shut off the lights, we asked them if they were closing. The entire staff ignored us and refuse to interact with us. Me and my family will not be coming back and we do not recommend eating here at this location.
