I’m not familiar with “Ohio Style Pizza” with cold cheese on it, but they did ask if I wanted cold cheese on top or not. So I selected no cold cheese and had the kind of pizza I’m familiar with. The pizza was very good and the staff was friendly!

My wife and I grew up in the Ohio Valley eating DiCarlo’s pizza. DiCarlo’s is the original Ohio Valley style pizza. As a kid, we used to get it from DiCarlo’s original store in Steubenville. This isn’t quite authentic but pretty close and the closest thing to authentic Ohio Valley style pizza in a few hundred miles. So we come to this restaurant fairly often. If you order it “Ohio Valley style “ they’ll add cold cheese and pepperoni after it comes out of the oven but they cook it with cheese on it. Ohio Valley pizza is confusing to people who aren’t used to it. (We heard one guy say he never had “raw pepperoni” before). So, if you want Ohio Valley style pizza, this is the closest you will find in several hundred miles. As an aside, if you’re from the Ohio Valley, they have a lot of local high school jerseys here. They even have my old high school. It’s a little slice of the Valley.

Used to be good.. not sure what happened. Very rude cashier! We always get a pizza from here, while we’re on vacation and ask for the cold cheese. Tonight, we picked it up and the cheese was already melted. We told the cashier it was supposed to be cold cheese (in the past they gave us a bag of cheese) and she said well it was until we put it in the warmer and it’s been baking inside of it. Looked at us with disgust and walked off with an eye roll. You can tell she really loves her job.. lol. I would always recommend this place, which I have a friend down here now and I told her to go. I had to call her and let her know, it is not the same and very rude workers!!!! Do not go here!!!!! The pizza was not good either. Crust on the pizza was stale. $25 wasted! What happened????

New Yorker here. I don’t expect stellar pizza outside of my state, but I do expect garlic on my pizza (or in the sauce at least), ricotta in my calzones and pepperoni that is cooked. I’ll give ya points for the fresh provolone – no mozzarella – and decent fresh dough but that’s all. The kids running it were cool and the atmosphere is nice.

We ordered half a tray. My husband is from East Liverpool, OH and he is in heaven. Almost like Bruno’s pizza. The crust is perfectly crunchy and the sauce is amazing. Fast service. Best pizza we’ve had in years.

As a Northern West Virginia native living in SC, I immediately recognized and drooled over the thought of having an Ohio Valley piece of pizza and pepperoni roll. I’ve been to the locations in Wheeling and Steubenville, so I was pleasantly surprised that Myrtle Beach had the same quality as they did. I go about every other week for a meal to this location now.

The pizza is ok. The crust is crispy the sauce is ok. The customer service is horrible. They were very rude and there are too many places to eat pizza in Surf side to ever give them our hard earned money again. Learn to treat customers with gratitude and respect. Horrible experience.

I used to think this was the best pizza. But the last 4 times I have come not only is the pizza is cold but the customer service is horrible. I asked for the lunch special and add toppings and ask to have melted cheese and Ohio style after willing to pay for the extra cheese. Ask if I had time to go to Walmart to get a cold drink to have my pizza because they don’t have cold drinks. The machine was broken for over a year and your forced to get the bottle drink in the refrigerator that doesn’t work well either and there is no ice to make up for it either. Anyway, he said yes I would have time to go to the store and the pizza would take 10 min. I told him incase I’m not back do not put it in the box leave it on the tray. I’m allergic to cardboard. So I come in and the pizza is handed to me in a box I paid 19.58 for 4 slices gave specific instructions and she said well we can’t put in the warmer in the tray and when people order for here they wait for it. There were three tables waiting for their pizza before I ordered and that’s why I asked if I can run next door to get a cold drink. He should of said no. And her excuse about the box was that he didn’t know. Well your employs should be trained better. And she didn’t apologize once. And proceeded to give me a tray so I can take the pizza out of the box myself. When I told her I was alérgica to cardboard. And she acted like it was too much for her and made me feel like it’s all my fault she doesn’t have an once of customer service in her. She just wants to sit in a corner with white headphones on listening or doing what ever she is doing on the device. But it’s not working. And she is getting paid for that. That is a darn shame and totally unacceptable. And now I will not be returning. The cheese on top was refrigerator cold, so what warmer did the pizza go in the box for?

Stumbled upon this amazing pizza parlor and boy I am glad we did!! The pizza is definitely worth the wait and the staff is friendly! Does have a limited menu no wings or appetizers but they have awesome pizza. And they also have bread sticks. But we have only had the delicious perfect amount out sauce and SUPER cheesy the way we like it!!
