The look and feel of the interior is not what one might expect from the unremarkable strip-mall exterior, a cool mix of supper club and something from Goodfellas. Service was decent overall, but some oddities that would be nit-picky-ish to post, but resulting in service rating under the 4.1. Perron’s has a nice selection of cocktails, wine and food choices. Dinners were generally good, but all four of our party (4 separate items) noted high levels of salt; not to a level of inedible, but enough to lower the quality and wonder about why at restaurant of this level? Likely it was a one-off. Note: the dish pictured was a special, so not on the menu. Dessert was quite good. IMO, lower the salt content and this review likely changes to a 5-star. Salt can be added. That said still worth a visit, we will be back.

The service here was very slow, but our food was great. My husband’s steak was cooked perfectly, the side of garlic mashed potatoes was huge (enough for 2). I had the cioppino and it was certainly the highlight of our dinner! It was great! We had reservations for 5 and did not get a server to put our order in (she did get us drinks right away) until 5:30, which luckily we had some extra time to wait.

Pretty much perfect. Took my bride tonight for early Mother’s Day meal. She had the halibut special and put it in the top 5 meals ever enjoyed out. I ordered the NY strip and it was perfectly prepared, great peppercorn sauce and the most tender strip I remember. Maddie our server was outstanding; personable, attentive, fast, and friendly. Overall the best meal out in the last many years. Highly recommend.

We have been going to Perron’s Sul Lago since it opened in 2005, and I have never been disappointed there. We go there several times when we are in Minnesota in the summer months. One of the finest Italian restaurants we have ever been to. The best part is, the owner/chef, Todd, is always front and center over seeing everything. Very important for a well run restaurant. This restaurant is not to be missed.

I never knew this was here but so glad it was recommended by friends. Made a reservation on their answering machine and they called back the next day. Service was excellent and server was experienced and knowledgeable. Great selection of different food options on the menu and specials to boot. Everyone was very pleased with their food. Will be going back to this quaint little spot soon.

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in quite a while. We went on Thursday night, and it was a good thing we made reservations because they were busy! The menu is just incredible, everything sounds delicious. We finally settled on the seafood risotto, and the filet, sul Lago style, with Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes.
