Just get a sopapilla! We had the veggie and cheese and beans and cheese, and both were fresh, crisp, and tasty. You can skip the lettuce and tomato topping – it’s fine, but a little extra. If you like spice, ask for the green salsa. The complimentary chips and salsa were good and fresh. The donkey ears were also so, so delicious. Our server was very friendly and helpful, and it’s cozy inside, with booths and tables.

If you’re from Colorado, you know what Green Chile Smothered Burrito is. After looking high and low to find it this side of the Mississippi; I found it here and it did not disappoint! It’s got kick like you wouldn’t believe, is smothered to perfection, and the flavor of the peppers is delightful.

La Paloma has a very welcoming atmosphere and an attractive location downtown. I tried the beef, bean, and cheese sopapilla and was definitely impressed with the presentation, flavor, and textures! I was surprised at the exceptionally small amount of queso that was provided in the large serving, which was barely enough to drizzle the top of my entree, however the flavor was delicious.

Though the food was very good and most of it tasted great. The ground beef was very bland didn’t even take like it had salt and pepper on it. The servers were awesome. It was a great atmosphere and a clean restaurant queso was excellent. The salsa was good but there was no heat for dessert had the cheesecake raspberry thing and other than it could have used some powdered sugar. It was excellent

Been a long time superfan of LA Paloma for almost 35 years. If we eat Mexican LA Paloma is where it comes from. ALWAYS!!!!! Great food, tremendous service, friendly atmosphere and did I mention the awesome food!!!! We don’t need a menu!! Sopapilla or chimichanga are my favorite. The whole menu is very good!!!!

It’s okay. I think they have a lot of friends who they keep happy, I prefer other options in town.

First time eating here. My family didn’t really like it. The rice is very bland, along with the salsa that comes with the chips. The queso isn’t true queso and once is cools it gets chunky. The main dishes were okay. The food just really need some flavor, which would make it more worth the price.

I had my heart set on eating fajitas. I had to settle for a burrito- no fajitas here. Jim had a beef and cheese soppapila (probably spelled all wrong). Nice atmosphere, friendly and efficient waitress.
