I bought the 5 meat pack for my family and we absolutely loved it. All of the meats have a delicious smoked flavor. The ribs are more dry, but they’re perfect when dipped in the homemade barbecue sauce. The cobbler was excellent. Service was very friendly and quick.

I bought over 25 pounds of brisket and two racks of baby back ribs. The meat was horrible had no flavor and was just covered up with a bunch of sugary sauce of some type. The brisket if you can call it that was all chewed up and was more like Globs of meat we threw away half or 3/4 of the meat. The people who put it on their plate, wound up, throwing theirs away as well. This was for a family reunion, and I was very disappointed and very saddened. I do not recommend big Jim’s at all. It was a waste of over $800.

Friendly but the food was not good at all ! We spent over $80 and threw almost all of it out. Everything but the sausage was tough. We were told the peach cobbler was the best around . It was just a big mess of soupy peaches. Nothing great, nothing special. We could have spent less for much better.

Drove by many times and finally stopped today. Prices are higher when we arrived compared to the website. A nice guy called us to the smoker to show what he got. Chicken and Turkey legs looked dry but everything else looked hopeful. Got the 5 meat tray and a peach cobbler. The car smelt amazing all the way home. Got it home and opened to see the cobbler doughy and not all the way cooked and beef and pork that just looked dry. Sausage was the best meat we had out of the five. No flavor on any of the meats except the hickory smoke and sauce if you added it. Sorry Big Jim but I for one won’t be back again.

Was exploring Parker and decided to stop by Big Jim’s and support the locals. The food was amazing and Big Jim is so friendly and kind. He gave my two fur babies a bowl for their water.

Sadly I must say that this visit was EXTREMELY disappointing! Ended up throwing out $30 worth of ribs. They were tasteless (unless you bathed them in BBQ sauce). No seasoning on the meat and “too much” smoke flavor.

Best BBQ I’ve had in Colorado! We got the 3 meat platter (ribs, brisket and sausage) and everything was DELICIOUS! Their potato salad and coleslaw were fresh and amazing too. We’ll definitely be going back.

Really wanted to like this place. The food looked and smelled good. Unfortunately the pork shoulder was very dry and the “pig wings” were mediocre. The potato salad and beans were good (got a sample) but certainly not worth $15 or more (each) for a pint so I didn’t buy any.

So disappointing and we so wanted this place to be good. We had driven by Big Jim’s for years and finally decided to try it. We had the ribs and brisket, potato salad and beans. Both meats were extremely tough, definitely NOT fall off the bone ribs and not even close to being tender. The potato salad was ok, not our favorite. The beans were good and the 2 rolls were hard. We just spent $35 for this meal and it was a huge waste of money and disappointment. If you want literal fall off the bone ribs, go to Tailgate on main street in Parker. They have some of the best ribs we’ve ever eaten. Save your money, save your time and go elsewhere for better BBQ. Wish I could have written a stellar review for Big Jim’s but sadly not possible!
