Reserved dinner for 2 online (very easy), seated right away, staff not very friendly, nice Restaurant with candle lit on table, need to wipe seats after each guest, caesar salad had big leaves, crab and shrimp capellini was ok nothing exciting, didn’t really taste crab meat in the pasta, didn’t appreciate waiter stephen lying to me. Asked about bread and he stated bus boy forgot to get to us, then we look over and another guest comes in and orders food and waiter brings out bread immediate after ordering, we had to keep asking for things such as refills, bread. I was still eating and he asked if I needed a take out box without asking if we wanted desert. I felt like I was being rushed. I didn’t like the gelato. Tasted watery. Don’t feel like I would be back.

The food was absolutely incredible. We decided to stop by on a whim and I’m so glad we did! It was a little crowded but it was a weekend night so that’s to be expected. The ambiance was very romantic. Our waitress was very attentive and the food was out of this world!

They have changed the recipe for the dipping sauce of the calamari, it was very watery and bland. Other than that, all the rest of the food were pretty good, especially the Brussels sprouts.

Cafe Gelato is one of the best restaurants in Delaware. The menu includes something for everyone. The food is very well prepared and delicious. The service and atmosphere are great for a special event lunch or everyday dining. The gelato is a real treat. Be sure to visit if you get the opportunity.

The food was good and the service was great too! Our waitress was kind enough to let us do half plain and half margherita pizza instead of just one flavor. Wasn’t expecting it to be extremely fancy though, felt out of place.

Service was great! The space was clean and beautifully decorated. However, the food was meh… Calamari was bland, table bread was blah, and though pasta had fresh ingredients it still had very little wow. I enjoyed the meal overall, but I wouldn’t revist.

A nice night to dine out. We both chose the seafood medley with cutle fish pasta and it was excellent. Beautifully presented and an extremely generous portion. Top the meal off by sharing the decadent brownie Sunday.
