Always craving this hot pot if i’m in the area. Can’t go wrong with the spicy miso base, however my friends LOVE the tom yom base & would recommend it to anyone who likes that lemongrass kick. Typically i’ll get the combo 10oz platters but can get by with just the angus beef 5oz if i’m only slightly hungry.

Been here a few times, bumped into the owner and he offered us drinks while we wait. Got a table outside, thankfully the weather was nice. Have a good selection of meats to choose from. Alcohol was also available in good options to choose from.

The waiter was extremely helpful! Being I never had shabu shabu before he spent the time to explain everything to me, then he helped me pick 2 delicious broths ( tonkatsu and creamy vegetable) and the best meats. Well worth every penny spent for the 3 of us! The owner stopped by and was so nice. Definitely will come back! The takoyaki and gyoza appetizers were amazing as well.

One of my favorite places for Shabu. It locates in Santa Ana Downtown, and it’s next to the Yost theater, so parking is limited. The place has great vibe, they serve hard liquor and complimentary sake. My plate combo is Tom Yum broth with lamb and ribeye. The broth is absolute delicious, and the meat is fresh. Very great service. Servers are attentive, and well trained.

I had my first OC shabu shabu experience here and it was fantastic. It’s located in an artsy part of Downtown Santa Ana with plenty of street parking nearby. I choose the spicy miso broth and the combo meat. So I got 5 oz each of pork and beef. Next time I would do the sharing option, it’s a lot of food and you get to choose two broths. The beef was very good, make sure you don’t let it cook in the broth too long. The atmosphere was upbeat and the employees were very nice, I can’t wait to go back.

Free sake, reasonable price. The quality is good for the area, ok compared to a real Shabu. The staff is great. 5 Oz portions of meet is ok for one healthy lean person, but you can go monster if hungry. Nice experience. Good for dating inside. Good for family outside.
