Waitress was super plesent. Food took a while to come out but I had my family of in from out of town making it a 6 top. However I wasn’t expecting to pay upwards $21 per person for breakfast. The pricing made no sense when broken down. I don’t know why a special would be 9.49 and the main menu item would be 8.50. Just wish the pricing would be more clear, especially since the place was at best a greasy spoon.

First time here. Fabulous experience! The biscuits and gravy are beyond other recipes we’ve tasted across the nation!

We were playing tourists in town and needed a late (1-ish) lunch. The rush was over, and so it was a relaxing place to eat. A simple lunch menu met out needs (sorry, no picture of the lunch menu). Good location for us. Wait-staff was very good. All in all, a nice place for lunch. I bet breakfast is a hit here too.

We had a party of six, two ordered a special which was $9.49 each, another ordered eggs bacon and hash brown that was cheaper than the special, two ordered a three egg omelette charged 1 1/2 the price another ordered a four egg omelette and charged us for two omelettes because they didn’t know how to charge, total bill with tip $130, very steep pricing. We are out of towners and not happy with being charged that much for breakfast because they didn’t know how else to do it. Extremely disappointed

Good simple food. It’s a shame places like this are getting harder and harder to find. Small town feel like it would have been 50 years ago. I’ll likely be back.

We ate breakfast on a weekday with our picky 5 year old. He loved it. It is a quiet, simple, hometown diner. You wouldn’t come here for the aesthetics but you would come here for a delicious breakfast at a great price! It was perfect and our food was made fresh and quick. I love their buttery pancakes with a little crisp on the edges! Yum!

The Kitchen is the quintessential “hometown diner.” Obviously a favorite with the locals, there was a table packed with six elderly gents when we came in. We were a party of three. Even though it was our first time there, the waitress treated us as warmly as she did the regulars. The coffee was nice and hot and hot the spot. My eggs were perfectly over easy and the ham was tender. My friend gave his sausage and biscuits a 7 out of 10. My other friend was very happy with her veggie omelet, impressed that it even included broccoli. We’d like to try dinner there someday.
