The food itself is not bad. But jeez I waited 40 minutes for one order. The noodles are mid at best but the broth is quite nice.

We ordered the Takoyaki, Kara-age and Tonkatsu regular and spicy. The octopus was generously coated in shaved bonito flakes and quite tasty. The marinated chicken nuggets were a bit dry caked and tasted like infinite shelf life. The Ramen was not rich in flavor or complexity but surprisingly clean tasting that got a little better near the bottom of the bowl. This place was at capacity around 4pm, a very enjoyable experience.

I finally checked out this spot, and it was lovely! The tonkatsu broth was rich and flavorful (and plenty of spice- I’ll order it on the side next time!), the side of curry was tasty and spicy- and about $5, and there’s nice draft beer pours for only $3!

Super convenient for stays at Hotel Leo. The spicy tonkatsu ramen was excellent as was the fried chicken appetizer which has a hint of ginger and is so moist inside but crispy outside. Ramen was perfect spice level, very flavorful.

One of the best Japanese Ramen in town.

My overall experience at ramen and bowl was superb! The staff are friendly. The appetizers were amazing and came out piping hot. The gyoza was juicy and the takoyaki was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants actual Japanese ramen.

First time take out was incredibly good. Teriyaki, tofu and and salad. The presentation was really good especially for takeout. This was the best tofu I’ve ever had and tofu isn’t ileven on my favourite list. The salad was fresh. Every bite was enjoyed by my family. Well go here again, on purpose . Thank you for the excellent food and service. One more place to add to our go to places.

I wish I could say that we enjoyed our meal and we really wanted to like the restaurant. After switching from Muto the environment and service was unfavorably sterile. Which can be over looked if the food was good. Sadly the ramen lacked flavor even though we both ordered spicy, and it was…room temperature/cold….

The ramen I ordered (veggie) was very bland, the only flavor being the 1-dimensional spiciness of the “spicy” option. Besides that, the broth tasted like mildly zesty canned corn water. The noodles were nothing to write home about. The restaurant is shriekingly loud; every time a metal chair is moved across the concrete floor it grates your ears. There is no sound dampening to be found, making it an incredibly noisy experience. The water is self-serve in flimsy 7oz solo cups. It was pricy for what it was. The only saving grace was that the sole front-of-house employee was attentive and friendly, though I’m not sure I’ll be going back any time soon.

Everything was so good. The service was super friendly and fast. The pork was cooked to perfection, crisp, tender and delicious. I’m not always the biggest fan of curry, but that curry sauce was the star of the show. There are so many things I want to try, I can’t wait to go back!
