when reviewing pizza it’s only fair to compare it against other options within the immediate area. In this area there is no bad pizza to be had and there is nothing exceptional either. And by exceptional, i’m talking about some of the big boys in manhattan(joe’s, scarrs, pizza suprema, etc). With that said, Gabbi’s is on par with the dozen+ other local joints around town. Not a bad thing, great sauce too

It’s new so I wanted to give it a try. Really great food. The ingredients are high quality which is the most important part. I got the mussels, a salad with grilled chicken and a slice. I got a slice to test out and see how the pizza is. It was a square with a chunky sauce and fresh mozzarella and it was very good. I have not tried their regular pie yet. I was also very happy with the salad. They use fresh mixed greens and other ingredients. I am very excited about this since a good salad is hard to come by when your trying to eat well/better. I think this place is a good one and would encourage everyone to order from here as I would like this place to stick around. It leans more toward Italian restaurant than just a pizza place. Good spot.

Since this pizzeria just opened and it appeared to be a soft opening, I decided to stop in and order a couple of plain slices. I didn’t add any extras, such Parmesan cheese, pepper flakes, etc. as I wanted to taste it as it was prepared. The pizza had a very good crust which is something I would have never thought of prior to tasting it. The sauce was also very good with plenty of cheese. That evening, I convinced my wife to also give it a try and we ordered a sausage and mushroom pie for dinner and we both thought it was very good with ample toppings along with plenty of cheese. The pizza is better than the other local pizzerias in our immediate area and earned our repeat business. I met one of the owners at lunch and learned that the name of their pizzeria represents the first initials of their children with “I” for their last name, gotta love that. Since they are really in the early stages of opening, I look forward their grand opening (I believe they didn’t even have menus yet). From what little I experienced it appears our neighborhood has a promising new place to dine. Will have to update once they get settled.

Great pizza! Fantastic dinners! Nice family-run pizza parlor. We have ordered from Gabbi’s a few times and have even sat down for dinner twice. This place does not disappoint. Live entertainment on the weekends. BYO

I am a employee of Gabbi’s Trattoria. This is a great workplace and amazing environment and energy. The food is delicious and made with care and the amazing ingredients. This is a great place for casual lunch or even a nice dinner with friends, family, or colleagues. The owners are wonderful people with a beautiful family and treat everyone like their closest friend.

Went for dinner, OMG! The food was delicious!!! Gabbie’s wings and clams in white sauce were out of this world!! Not to mention the great service we received. If your looking for great food in the area, definitely check them out. We’ll be back soon!

This place is awesome!!! I’ve been living in Helmetta for 5 years and I haven’t been able to find a restaurant like this. The food is incredible and the staff is so genuine. I got the chicken Murphy and the Tuscano chicken wrap. WOW!! Talk about authentic home cooked meals. I will practically be living here!

First time ordering from here. Ordered around 5 PM on a Friday night. Was told it would take an hour. Arrived in just about an hour. Well worth the wait. A little pricey but I would gladly pay for the delicious food.
