Quality of the food is not there. I had high expectations, it’s been a while since I ordered Hawaiian. The prices are definitely steep for what they offer. I would have been ok if the quality was at par. First, the chicken was inedible. It was chewy and seemed undercooked not grilled thoroughly. The bbq short rib was also inedible, it was all soft nothing but fat. The macaroni is the best from the plate. I didn’t try the shrimp but they did mention it was good enough not great. I wouldn’t be back honestly, I’d pass on this.

Dropped by the weekend for a quick lunch. The lady at the register was like a rookie, we tried to clarify the terms, like grilled and bbq, white and dark meat. The cook behind was jumping in, trying to sort out the communications. Realized they charge extra, almost for any substitutions as opposed to some of their fellow competitors. I decided to stay as it was. The order turned out not as I expected, the appearance was off, a little too burnt, or too much charred matter. I suspect their grill was not cleaned as supposed to be, with much residue or accumulated substances. Ended up it was a forgettable experience, I had to throw away some portions of the meat. My dining purpose is to be protein friendly, turned out my experience here was counterproductive. I have no intention to consume a stomach full of toxic chemicals.

Recipes are different than other L&L, see the pictures. Cashier employees always chatting behind the counter rather than checking the status of the orders, orders are late, wrong orders and when asked why is so late they respond in a careless manner with inaccurate waiting estimates and with the economy right now jobs are not secured, maybe when they are a little more caring about customer sevice I would come back for now I’ll go to the one in Cerritos.
