The food and crew were amazing! My family and I stopped by for lunch while on our road trip and we were so surprised to see that the food was good and affordable! In fact, our plates were cleaned off and we were tempted to order some more food for takeout. Wish there were more authentic food places like this one. This is a must try!

Really good food, the Agua de Pina (pineapple water) was on point! Got the tejano plate and it did not disappoint, salsa wasn’t my favorite but hey the chips were fresh and crispy so I’ll take it plus it went well with the guac they gave me. If I’m ever in the area I’m definitely stopping and would recommend it to anyone! 🙂

Food was awesome! Chips and salsa hit the spot. Inside is clean. They do a good job with the space that they have, so you don’t feel too crammed. Owner is awesome, service was good besides the delay on queso (didn’t get till we were done with our meal). Will definitely go again.

This is the real deal! The barbacoa tacos I had were excellent. Juicy tasty meat, fresh cilantro and onions, and a soft home made flour tortillas. Fast and friendly service in the dtr. The gentleman who served me even gave me a sample of their in house made horchata and lemonade. Great experience!

Great waitress! The food was nothing to write home about. To much cheese on their enchiladas. The flour tortillas are homemade but had a weird taste to them. The el charro beans and rice needs more flavor, but they have 4 different hot sauces and my fave was the one that came with the chips.

Passed through heading to South Padre, this place was a hidden gem in a small town. Definitely a great place to stop for some delicious food, atmosphere was nice, reminded me of home. Staff was super friendly, our family will be coming back for sure if we pass through town again.
