My friend took me to this place for the pancakes and it did not disappoint. A total gem off the beaten path. We drove up and walked in and were immediately helped by a nice woman. She and a man handle the front, taking phone orders, walk ups, and handing out food. Another two people are working the griddles and sandwich station and it was awesome to watch. They no longer have dine in so you have to take out. The prices are dirt cheap and the food is solid. The pancakes were indeed fluffy and delicious. I did not like the potatoes (tasted like they were cooked with maple syrup??) But you can tell the community supports them and I hope this place survives forever!!

The food is good but sometimes they can be rude. One of the ladies who answers the phone sometimes is super rude. Got me questioning whether or not I’m going to pick up this sandwich!

Was very disappointed when I saw the lady with the mean mug that cooks the food scratch her hair, then begin to minimize the croissants, she washed her hands afterwards. Once I said something home girl that takes the money said she washed her hands yeah after she touched the food & I said something. Lord knows what goes on in there when they are preparing the food ewwwww it was my last time going there Good Luck Black People

The pandemic has ruined a wonderful wholesome environment. The food is still awesome and the customer service is spot on quick, friendly and efficient, but you can’t get that same feeling you use to get where it was a sit in diner and you could talk meet people and relax. There’s nothing wrong with the food ,it’s just changed I’d continue to recommend this place to anyone. It’s just the environment has changed there behind lax guard and a steel cage and you have to grab your food and go. If anyone whose ever went there will understand the biggest appeal of this institution was being able to dine in and meet your neighbors.
