What a delightful place to stop and eat. The atmosphere is great with the black and white tile and the bar stools as well as booths. We had fried chicken and fried shrimp. Both were great. Our waitress was not only efficient and kind but cute.

A local treasure. Great food, great ice cream and the prices are fair. Huge menu to. I highly recommend the turkey super-melt, fries, maple cream soft serve, and on Thursdays the prime rib dinner.

Can’t beat the great name and the old-timey setting, but the maple soft-serve cone I had – while generous in size – was just OK. It wasn’t particularly creamy, had a faint (but natural) maple flavor, and oddly wasn’t very sweet.

They always have the best food! It is pretty affordable. They have the best ice cream! I have been coming here for close to 40 years. It’s one of my favorite places. It is usually very crowded so sometimes parking is hard to find but that just speaks to how good it is.

Absolutely unbeatable value. The food is good, the ice cream is good, a nice river view, seating inside or outside, quick/friendly service…for a very reasonable amount of money. I can’t think of a single thing to complain about. They have great pretzel buns you can upgrade your burger to for $1.
