We had an amazing excellent time during our first visit to La Colina Mexican Cantina. The interior decor is outstanding and the presentation of the iPad Menus and food was impressive. We had the fajitas, quesadilla, and burrito and everything was fantastic. The chicken was flavorful and each dish was plentiful and a beautiful presentation! The service was excellent too. We are very happy to have visited this location and will certainly return. The only suggestion I would recommend, to enhance the experience and atmosphere, is they play Mexican music. Don’t get me wrong they continuously play Latin music (salsa style), but, I did not hear one Mexican style (ranchero, mariachi, Banda, Selena) song play.

I loved this place!! The fajitas (chicken and shrimp combo) were the best I’ve ever had. The staff were super solicitous, eager to give suggestions, and fast. It’s pricey but heads above any other Mexican nearby. Every sizzling dish that went by made us want to come back to try more.

Awesome place. Food is fresh, not your run of the mill Mexican.

A newish restaurant has been pleasant for a few visits. The Pollo Ranchero entrée (photo) was excellent, as was the guacamole appetizer. Armosphere is good with the only downside being the pricier menu and some challenges confirming timely drink orders with the staff. This visit had outdoor seating which was pleasant.

100 points for presentation. I’ve had better Mexican food elsewhere. Food was very expensive compared to normal prices. Good staff as well.

The food was okay but way overpriced. My friend ordered a beef quesadilla and a sangria which she said were both alright. I ordered the strip steak and shrimp with a side of potatoes, rice and beans. The steak was wrapped around a mound of potatoes and quite small (I was able to finish it in about 6 bites). The two pieces of shrimp I got were hiding under a huge half slice of an avocado. I was also a bit confused by the brightly colored sauces that were used to garnish our dishes. I found it to be odd and unappetizing. Our waiter went missing after we got our dishes and we had to ask another server for our check. Our bill, including tip, came out to be around $50 a person. The owner seemed nice though. I probably will not be coming back.

If you don’t know, you must know. This place is superior to all local Mexican Cuisine in this area. The food is elevated Mexican superiority and the flavors are unmatched. The drinks. I don’t have enough to say about the lead bartender. Every drink is carefully crafted to your desire- and it’s a little bit of *spice* and flare beyond expectations. Highly recommend. -side note- the decor has all been expertly done by one of the owners. From the bar, to the ceilings, lighting and general seating areas. A true expose.

Two Words: Hidden Gem. Food was great. Awesome presentation. The ambience in the place is the star. Good vibes, good music you can’t really ask for much more. We ordered Eolte, Don Cheetos burrito, chicken tacos and ended with the Mexican churros. The churros are a must. One thing I will say is that the food could have used a little more salt, but the overall authenticity and quality was def worth it. We didn’t try the drinks but we will be sure to next time. They have a crazy selection of tequila, I’m sure the drinks are amazing. Til next time,

Nachos with pump cheese??? Makes the chips soggy instantly. Good Guacamole. Beef nachos with chunks of beef stew not a good combo. Special drink only tastes like the burnt lime that it comes with. Nice bar and surroundings. Clueless wait service. Burrito not bad.
