We go during off hours. The food is always filling and the staff attentive. I am not a fan of country music, but I can tolerate it for long enough to eat dinner. The old time candy in the store is a treat. The rare place that we and our children can agree on without questions. Plenty of accessible parking.

My S.O. and I went for breakfast. It was my first experience at a C.B. and I was skeptical. The food outstripped my expectations. Unfortunately the service was abominable. 20 minutes before coffee or water. After having to go seek out the hostess and politely inquire. Our server emerges from hiding and apologizes. Then we wait another 20 minutes or more with nobody checking on us, no refills, no water, and no food. I get up and seek out an employee and ask for the manager. Note: we ask to speak with a manager once or twice a decade. The food comes. It’s not cold, the order was correct, and as mentioned quality surpassed my expectations. Manager arrives quickly and asks us what the issue was. Polite, friendly, professional. Comped the whole check. It wasn’t a great experience, but I’ve had much worse.

For 1 the presentation of the food was disappointing.The gravy looked like it was old, when my husband went to pour it over the dry fried steak Patty that we had. The gray didn’t pour on it plopped on like a bowl of jello.He was spreading it like butter. The food had no seasoning,who cooks without that. My husband wine up not eating anything. I should have followed his lead, instead I tried to overcome the issue and got something else. I thought I was getting hamburger steak, instead I received a flat hamburger patty very dry.For a restaurant in their statue they need to be ashamed serving food like that. I know we are trying to bounce back, but Dang. Will not be visiting there any time soon.

Stopped in on our schools trip to DC. To have been hit with 2 charter busses full of adults and children. The staff never missed a beat!!! They were wonderful!!

Cracker barrel is one of my favorite restaurants. However, This one is terribly run, I came in and was seated by three guys who were at the front which is fine, but there were 5 unbussed tables all around me which was a concern for me if they cannot get the dishes off of the tables in the dining room what else are they not doing.
