I’ve ordered from this establishment since 2019. In 2023 I’ve noticed a huge failure in all of their items. Not only have they driven their food into oblivion but they’ve also risen their prices. Today I ordered shrimp chow mein but I instead received onion “chicken something”. When I called back about my order they assured me that this is what I ordered.

Most of their food is pretty good. Last several times we have ate there the food has been way over cooked. The egg rolls are tough and if you get black pepper chicken it’s so overdone that the chicken just splinters in your mouth. From now on if we eat there we Will certainly not get anything that’s fried.

Considering other Chinese restaurants in the area, this is one of the better choices . . . in terms of only the food. I had vegetable fried rice and hot & sour soup. The rice was flavorful and above average and had the perfect al dente texture. However, the soup was bland. I did like the soup’s unique thickness, and it was good once I added some chopped green onions and a lot of soy sauce.

Food is always good, but the customer service is extremely disappointing. The hostess (lady at the window) legit slammed the window in my face when I asked a time limit after ordering. To make matters even worse, she slammed it again in my face after I asked if I could go ahead and pay now. Makes you wonder why some people have to be rude to those who try to be polite & respectful. Other then that, the food has always been satisfying.

This is the best Chinese restaurant which I have ever eaten at by far. It is family run and you will never meet a more friendly family. They have been a blessing to the town of Saltville and they are loved by everyone. So if you want a good Chinese meal then this is the place for you !!!
