Artisan Pizza, Craft Beer from Local Breweries, and Wine served in a friendly environment with outdoor seating and a picnic area!
Our Roman Pizza recipe, Pinsa, is a lighter, healthier version of a traditional pizza. Pinsa has a unique crunchy outside with a soft inside, hand-stretched to perfection in the traditional oval shape. Yes – that’s the Oval! The result is a more digestible, low gluten, low calorie, and low fat flatbread crust.

Excellent freshly made pizzas and a nice selection of local beers. There is an outdoor seating area with picnic tables and corn hole. This place is popular with families with children, so be warned that you will be enjoying your brew and food in what amounts to a daycare playground.

Oval&Ale has a relaxed family friendly vibe. Their flour is imported from Italy and cooked using a stone conveyor Italian made oven. They have fresh salads and craft beers on tap. I loved the spinach dip, white pizza, and patio salad. (I suggest you get Their homemade balsamic vinaigrette it’s the best dressing I’ve ever had.) They also have live music on select nights This place is awesome!

Our new local favorite place for pizza and beer. Pinsa aka pizzas are delicious and perfectly cooked. Our three love the kids pizza. Great variety of beers too. Love ordering through the app as it’s so quick and efficient. Staff were very helpful in any additional requests we had. We’ll be back soon!

Excellent pinsa and family friendly service. Everything was hot and served quickly. Big selection of tap beers and canned. The pretzel was awesome. Order and pay from your phone at your table. Added to our list of favorite pizza places in the Hampstead/Topsail Island area.

Thin crust pinsa is supreme!!!! Many choices for fresh toppings, served on 2 smart sizes of oval crust. The pinsa crust does not cause a huge increase in my blood sugar.. if you are diabetic this is a good thing to know. Above average selection of draft taps, served COLD! A must visit place in Hampstead. Salads are fantastic also. Pinsa list and ratings: Portobella and burrata, add on of meatball is great!! Barbeque Chicken , very tasty, could be our new favorite. Gyro pinsa, very very tasty.

Love the food , beer and atmosphere. But I REALLY wish they would forego the on line ordering. I just want to chat with a waitstaff and then make my choices. It’s really nice to have a person stop by the table and ask “how’s your meal?”. Plus, I’d probably order more food and beer (and tip better)!

The pizza crust is so delicious! The salads are very fresh. The fried chicken I chose for my salad didn’t taste fresh so next time I will get grilled.

I’ve gone through my life and eaten various types of pizza crusts and they all seemed sutiable… UNTIL TODAY! The PINSA Crust here takes the cake (or should I say crust?!) Light, crispy, thin, sturdy, doughy. Perfection

We had 2 pizzas, both were very average. Pepperoni had basically no pepperoni on it, maybe 1 piece per slice. BBQ chicken pizza was cut up chicken fingers, not fresh chicken. Good beer selection.

The atmosphere is great. A really nice relaxed place to take the kids. The menu was mostly pinsa, but the appetizers looked great. The pinsa was pretty flavorless even though it had plenty of toppings. And the dough tasted like a plain english muffin. The caprese salad was incredibly small for $9, hardly even the size of a side! I think it would benefit the business to add more variety on the menu.
