My folks live close by to this location, and my boyfriend loved this place when we were going to CCU. So when we were visiting my parents, we got takeout for the whole family. I got the chicken quesadilla, because I’m not particularly huge on Mexican food, and it was really good. It paired really nicely with the sour cream that it came with. We ordered inside, and was told it would be 20 minutes. We walked over to the Circle K next door and got some drinks, and that took probably like 5 minutes overall. When we came back, we only had to wait another 5 or so minutes for our food. Mind you, we got 4 meals and 2 sides to feed 5 people. So that was really quick! Everyone liked their food. The portions are very generous for the price!

Seriously THE BEST Mexican restaurant in this area. The food are very authentic, all their food are homemade and their tacos are really delicious. The owner is amazing, very friendly. They also have my favorite shrimps cocktail (Must try this dish if you love shrimp). We will be back to try more food for sure. 100% recommend this restaurant.

An Americanized Mexican restaurant! Clean. Friendly staff. Broad menu with all the Mexican favorites. I ordered a torta. It was huge and very, very good. I struggled whether I should cut it in half and take half home. I couldn’t do it because it was so good! My wife had a chimichanga which she said was good and my granddaughter had a quesadilla from the kids menu which she liked.

The food is sooooooooooo good. Try the wings, the best I have had a very, very long time. Mama & Papa cooking in the kitchen, daughters waiting on the tables.

My fiancé and I both got the Monday burrito special. Needless to say we were both very disappointed in the food. The other reviews claim this to be the best Mexican restaurant in the area but I would have to politely disagree. The food was not hot when it came out, and immediately I could tell the beans that were on the side were from a can. The rice wasn’t hot either. The quality of the burritos themselves were questionable, and the meat tasted off. The lettuce was not fresh whatsoever, and the sour cream was VERY odd. It had a runny consistency and tasted more like a runny heavy cream from a carton. The chips that were brought to our table were stale as well which was disappointing. My fiancé and I will definitely not be back after the experience with the food that we had. The staff were very polite and friendly, but that didn’t make up for the poor quality food we were served. The price for the portions they were asking for was ridiculous along with the fact that it didn’t taste…good… I hope that there are improvements made. I’ve eaten at plenty of Mexican restaurants in my day, but this place has got to be the worst I’ve eaten at.

This is some of the absolute best Mexican food around. They are always consistent with the quality, the service is excellent and the prices are good. I have been eating here for about 3 years now and I will continue to hopefully for many years to come.

There are a very few eateries in HoCo that have a place in my heart, this is one of them. The food is authentically Mexican and delicious. This isn’t Taco by a long shot, but all of your familiar favorites are here. BTW tacos do not include cheese, lettuce and tomatoes in Mexico, not do they here. Portions are ridiculously large and I have often only made it through half a torta, because they are generously constructed with plentiful sauces meats, cheeses and vegetables. Also, word to the wise, the housemade salsa roja picante is hot. Like authentic hot. Always clean, family oriented, with personable service this is a must eat. Don’t miss the daily specials, CCU budget conscious studes! ¡Buen provecho!

Fresh made from scratch food. I ordered 3 different enchiladas. Nelly brought out freshly made chips and 3 different salsas. The red salsa was bland, the green tomatilla salsa was wonderful and the avacado and habanero salsa was good but way too hot for me. Portions were huge. The cheese enchilada with with red sauce, onion, fresca cheese and avacado slices was really good. I ate the green tomatillo cheese enchilada next. I was really good too. I had to box up the third with homemade mole and fresca cheese because I thought it would reheat the best. Nelly said they use mozarella because it melts well and there wad plenty in each of the 3. They all tasted really good. You can taste how fresh all the ingredints are with the tortillas being made from scratch as well. I had teir guacamole as well. It was like getting the tableside made version with plenty of onion tomatoes and cilantro. If there was jalapeno in it they must have left out the seeds because it was not hot just flavorful.
