This place isn’t advertised well enough. You probably wouldn’t know it’s there if somebody didn’t tell you about it and I am telling you that you need to try this place. I’ve been going here for the past few months and I’ve tried many different dishes every single thing that I have had their is amazing. The owner and staff there are friendly and accommodating and if you want something different or changed on any of the dishes, they are happy to do so. In my opinion, this is one of his most underrated spots in Sacramento they run a small business here and it may not be the prettiest building or location, but the experience in the food is great. He will leave with a smile on your face and a full belly.

First time stopping in and so thankful I did. I had a craving for pozole and theirs hit the spot. Meat was fork tender and the handmade crispy tortillas were the perfect accompaniment. I’ve had pozole at a few places in Sac & Lodi and this has more flavor than the handful of places I’ve been and they don’t skimp on meat (at least at 9pm on Sunday they did not). Only thing missing/that would knock it out if the park is for take away orders, including a side of chile or hot sauce in case you’d like it spicier & some broken up chicharron like they top it off in Taxco & CDMX (haven’t come across a spot in the states that do this though so just suggesting). I noticed a salsa bar was setup for those that dine in. Also, got a dulce that is very tasty, but could only eat a few bites due to how sweet it is. Looking forward to coming back to try out their mole & birria.

Tasty green chilaquiles. Nice to try panches: like tamales with potato as masa. Yum! Good pan dulce too. Mexican and Guatemalan specialties here, hope you’ll enjoy them too!

We really enjoyed the steak super burritos. Highly recommend. Very tasty rice and loved the salsa bar. Only small note is they put iceberg lettuce in the burrito which I do not enjoy but I was able to pick it out.

I dont know why so many good reviews don’t ask for the Menudo it has no flavor at all I was upset also don’t order a burrito all you will get is nasty beans to much rice and a sprinkle of meat. I know my food and sorry I gave it to the dog JS. Step yaw game up or let go of the cook because it was bad oh and yaw Jamaica juice was way to strong tasted like red dye #40.

Oh boy!!! This is a great place to grab some food, the Mole was awesome!!! My chimi was killer!! Fresh tortillas and a well stocked salsa bar!! I even got some chili cheese fries and those were really good!!!! We will definitely be back!!!!

I really wanted to like this place. I ordered the carne asada plate with high hopes. When I spend $12.00 I expect something decent. When I opened my container I saw a tiny paper thin piece of asada. Immediately I thought with a piece this small it must be super high quality beef. When I was cutting it I instantly realized that it’s like a piece of shoe leather. Needless to say when I tasted it the flavor was good but the meat was dry and very tough and chewy. The beans are okay but the rice was too wet and had too much garlic in it. I will say this though, the tortillas are amazing! I see a lot of great reviews on here so maybe I just came on an off day or just ordered the wrong thing.
