Sushi Spot is one of my favorite places to eat across 35 countries! It has a cozy homelike atmosphere, the staff is incredible, and the food comes out fast. They open with a complementary miso soup that is very tasty, we ordered the chicken mandoo, which was an incredible chicken dumpling, so good. I had the salmon nigiri, and the fish was the freshest and smoothest I have had in Hawaii, simply awesome. The Philadelphia roll was a smoked salmon masterpiece and I’m glad we ordered it.

I only usually give reviews if it’s really good or really bad. This is an opportunity to shine a spotlight on a tremendous little sushi shop. Hidden in a little outlet, sits a great food stop who has, not only great food and service, but reasonable prices given how high most are in Hawaii. Thankyou Sushi Spot! Little mom & pop Korean style sushi place, friendly service, small but clean. They have a surprisingly wide selection of sushi rolls, but my favorite is the stuffed jalapeño and spicy poke salad. Definitely recommend for a quick, but satisfying lunch.

This is the best sushi I have ever tasted! I recommend the Calvin’s choice roll. The staff here are kind, friendly and attentive. Our food came out quickly and was of the highest quality and freshness imaginable. All of the sauces were house made with beautiful presentation. Plus, there was plenty of parking which is a bonus.

This place was recommended to me, it’s decent. They do bring out complimentary miso soup which is nice! The hand roll was meh and the sushi roll was good but felt overpriced for the portion. I only tried one roll which was a cooked salmon one, perhaps their other rolls live up to the hype. Service was wonderful though.

Sushi Spot loved up to its reputation for fresh sushi done well. We tried a variety of rolls. I particularly liked the SOS roll. My wife had the Donburi, which is a broiled eel bowl. I don’t care for eel myself, but it looked really good (she confirms that it was indeed good).

This place is by far some of the best sushi that my wife and I have had on island. It’s a very small restaurant with about 5 or 6 tables to sit at inside. The staff are extremely friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. They have a great selection of fresh sushi and amazing soup that is free by the way. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good casual date spot or even a family meal. The prices are very reasonable!!
